I can't find SNA inthe entries for the 2,000gns. Maybe Aidens seen the light. And is going the Derby route with his star colt.

They can supplyment him at a later stage .

Can't find the 2000 Guineas entries on the Racing Post website. Has anyone seen the list of entries yet? Don't know why it's taking so long - they were embargoed until 12 noon today, but they've had over five hours to get them published.
By:
Usually 48 hours after the race closes.
By:
I rang Weatherbys and they said the entries would be made available at noon today, so they should appear in tomorrow's printed edition of the RP and on the website sometime today...
By:
Pretty sure all big races with initial entry stages close and then the entries are released 48 hours later, you'd expect an article at minimum if it was today.
By:
I agree - it's odd that nothing has been announced. The person I spoke to at Weatherbys was sure that the embargo was going to be listed at noon today. Perhaps she was wrong.

Well im happy at least.
Although Suroor didnt mention them recently Zeitoper, Buzzword, Chabal (although not carrying Godolphin colours), Kingsfort and Emerald Commander all entered at this stage. So at least I know they must have wintered ok. By my count: O'Brien - 13 entries Godolphin - 14 entries Hamdan - 12 entries Khalid Abdullah - 3 entries Cheveley Park - 2 entries The winner will come from these, forget the rest. Interestingly did anyone notice that St Nicholas Abbey has changed ownership from Smith, Tabor & Magnier, to solely Mrs S Magnier???? So will now wear the dark blue colours. |
By:
good to see youve narrowed it down to 44 then shark.
By:
You have to start somewhere :)
Cheveley only have 1 entered not 2 - only 43!! |
By:
Well done, just 43 to choose from? I still like the chance of AWZAAN, and until I see anything to change my mind I'm on the Johnston horse, even with mr hills aboard.

jamesp ... horses who have won solely at 8f like SNA are very rare.
At 2yo ... Mister Baileys won over 6f, 7f and 8f King Of Kings won over 6f, 6f, 7f and 8f Entrepreneur won over 7f and 8f Sea The Stars won over 7f and 8f However St Nicholas Abbey won over 8f, 8f and 8f, no sub mile speed victories which is extremely unusual for a Guineas favourite. |
