I remember laying Aus hard at 7s thinking they were toast, it cost me a lot of profit!

Don't get out now boy!

Holding off the Aus lay just in case!

Oh wow, that draw. I'm close to all green. It's had my 4.8. Course now there's the regret I wasn't greedier but let's not complain.

You've missed your market, I think. I wouldn't object to those odds as being unfair but they don't represent a good trade as the market will believe a little bit in Australia even chasing 450.

It will go down to 4s and then stick there. It always does.

Lol. It's a difficult one to get spot on. I can only really think of the Oval England Pakistan test where I was happy with where all my draw lays had been after the event, with England's opening pair doing just enough to pick up the last one somewhere in the 2s, then the inevitable 4 wicket collapse. Even then I did some of my profit by tinkering on day 4 and laying Pak short. In fact, even in that game I didn't buy draw hard enough at 9s or whatever overnight after day 1 (wasn't in a great position, to be fair) and layed it off too early.

When trading, it's always better to be too early, than too late.

Wise as always. You regret taking the profit too soon a little and missing it through greed and losing instead you regret a lot. Having said that and we've talked about this before, the psychology of wanting the win, even if it's small and being loss averse, even if you take far larger risks to get rid of it, can play against you. I don't think I'm too bad for taking the win early as you have to swing when you're winning but I'm terrible at just taking my medicine when losing.

Draw rather stuck at 5s for a bit.

Come to the conclusion the crack is a red herring. After watching today's play if it hits it, it will deviate away and there is no chance of nicking it. With the angle I can't see it hitting the crack and decking back to bowl the batsmen

I've had a few more draw backs above 6 one of which I've already hit the lay for. I don't think the draw minds Faf in rather than Duminy and it's not any less flat than earlier. Don't want to see de Kock this session though.

A couple hours of Faf should see you right FS

Draw's stayed up longer than I expected actually: thought it would dive down to 5s fairly quickly if a slow start to the session but it rarely resists back to back maidens.

She does a bit. I expect they instructed her to look like that.

Price stubborner than I expected and need to hit 4.9 to break even on results with a big draw green left over. I'm quite happy with how this session is setting the draw up though, even if. The market hasn't noticed. It looks flat, there aren't many runs coming and silly mid on is in, which always says the bowling side is desperate.

Finally the draw takes a dive. I'd got myself quite exposed not believing I could get more 6s. I'm still in a fair bit of bother if there's a collapse, in fact but I still think it's got some more falling to do soon.

I still think this will be beyond Aus Juce. Wickets expected to fall in clumps. De Kock still there. I just hope the lead gets to 400 to give the SA spinners some protection. Anything above 400 absolutely kills the game for Aus.

I was waiting for this situation but was impetuous and made a stupid Aus lay at 8.6 just before tea, just before Duminy was out. I coulda murdered this market with Aus at 3's odd! Dumb dumb dumb!
