echoing my sentiments..actually think 1.18 is an insulting price 4 the Saffers
there could be a stand or two which could push the price north of 1.2x or 1.3x
but SA would have to be poor with the ball not to prevail
can't be bothered to get up so early to monitor it
will tape it and play catch up
think 1.18 is a fair enough price
were it the other way round would be 1.1 max

Rabada is in beast mode. The aussies never bowled anything like this, which must be a worry as their batting is flakier than Philip Marlow's skin

Since Steyn's injury, ive been thinking Rabada and Phil would form a decent bowling attack even if the other two bowlers were weak. And so far it looks like these two will be enough to topple Aus on their own. Rabada certainly was in beast mode when he took those 2 wickets. I really like him. He and DeKock should serve this test side for a long period(21 and 24 respectively).

Bavuma should settle down in his role as his place is guaranteed for the next 10 years unless a better black african player comes along.

When the humiliation has been achieved, Aus will definitely turn to a flat track to salvage something better. And that's where we'll see what Rabada is made of.

Next Test at Hobart, a result venue, unless it rains.

You'd have to say Aus punters are keeping the draw down, as there is no point in backing Aus. Realistically, the draw should be north of 10.

That's my assumption too, although three fit bowlers and flat track will be contributing.

I will be gutted if from my at one point I think over £25k draw green it ends up drawn and I win just under a hundred pounds. Over £3k green on SA though, which would come in handy.

After a terrible start to this match, I've managed to get myself to where I will have decent green on SAF and the draw at start of play today.

I expect SAF to win this by tea.

Another day of horizon to horizon blue skies in Perth.

We actually look forward to it raining.

you can count the number of teams in test history surviving a full day 5 with so few wickets left on one hand. no more than 3 times at most. the famous recent one with faf du plessis batting out a million dot balls at adelaide

as has been said australia just don't have the mentality to block it out even if they had batsmen left with enough ability which they don't

That LBW was due to the new DRS rule.

I also think Ball Tracker got it wrong. It tracked the ball from when it hit the pad, but it had already been deflected by hitting the boot.

Yeh no way that was hitting leg stump full. I actual think it was missing the stumps.

The ball tracker had the ball straightening a tad. It was massive banana reverse.

bowled from wide of the crease and massive late swing. had to be missing

Radaba is the real deal though, stood up here with a man down and been absolutely superb

very impressive against england last winter when steyn and philander were missing. won a test match virtually on his own

I thought Smith's shot yesterday shows why he will never be a great player.
Terrible game awareness imo. Rabada bowling brilliantly, swinging it both ways & he's trying to cream every ball through the covers.

With Rabada maybe out. I've covered half my draw red, and if no wicket by lunch, I'll cover the rest.

Philander looks like he would make short work of a few boerwursts.

They don't call him big Vern for nothing.

Ramping Lyon as much better than a number XI batsman and 6 runs off two balls. Can't believe the draw had got back to 7s with a full session left. I'd got my green on it up by backing at 26 anyway but as I traded some of that out at 12s, would still win £2k more on SA. Hard to believe that I started the weekend with a huge loss on the Spanish game and a shocking position in this test and finished it going to bed Sunday with £3.3k on SA likely to come in.

Couldn't resist a bit more last day thinkering with a draw back at 34 looking for lays at 25 and 20. Think it will drop pretty quickly if they get towards rescheduled tea.

What a test. SA were out of the game when Steyn left and end up winning comfortably.

Our friend was on fire at the end of day 1, just like Aus. Haven't seen him since.
