I still think this will be beyond Aus Juce. Wickets expected to fall in clumps. De Kock still there. I just hope the lead gets to 400 to give the SA spinners some protection. Anything above 400 absolutely kills the game for Aus.

Who is going to bowl the overs for SA?

Not with two bowlers and a debutant

I also think that rabada and Big Vern may get me an early wicket or two and that would be a good exit point

I've done my cash horribly here, from a decent position. My intended low risk short term trades backing the draw around and over 6 after the third wicket were really close to paying off nicely but didn't quite get there, which would still have been okay if I hadn't got over excited and bought draw again after the 5th wicket.

Steyn can do a Malcolm Marshall here, those extra runs could be vital

Bollocks, had forgotten that.

Problem for the draw here is that SA need not just to last a session and a bit with 3 wickets left but also to score some runs. If Aus has 440 to chase in 5 sessions that's just about going to keep the draw alive but not for long if Warner gets going or for that matter if a wicket or two goes. Need them to last past lunch tomorrow and set 500 ideally. That looks a long way off but shouldn't be playing impossible for a decent tail against tired bowlers.

Need another session and about 130 runs to get that draw down

No chance, I was a certified middle/late order Biffer.
Soon as I walked to the wicket, fielders were sent to cow corner

Lowest I ever batted was no.10, when I joined a new team and helped my team recover from 19-8 to almost chase 170 odd

Tired bowlers, great time for a SA counter attack to take the game away from AUS

my guess is that they have a shut them out score (400?), and qdk knows it's his job to shepherd what's left until they get there.

as for this market, aus' chances are very slim, not a tangible 4.6.

There's no need to have a flay here. It's a flat deck and there are two days left so correct approach is to grind unless Vern is out. SA have damaged their chances (and my draw green) by playing a few too many shots. Lucky with the drops really.

Now a session and a few minutes and perhaps 120 runs should get it down to perhaps 5s. Any more than that or even the prospect of it and we might see 4s again. Think we might even close tonight at 9s or even a bit lower if they last out the final four overs. Aus seem curiously reluctant to get them in. You'd think they'd want four rather than just the three.

I think the plan was to keep De Kock to bat for tomorrow morning. I like that a lot. Got my final lay of Aus in!

Philander has faced 45 balls to KDK's 26. Thinking cricket, love it!

I cannot see a declaration, why would they? Wear long spikes and get whatever they can as they are a Steyn down. Aus will come after SA spinners and they will need the protection of runs against Warner and Smith but one ball will have each of their names on it. The uneven bounce and reverse will do for the rest.
