Welcome to Tiger and UnluckyStew who have now been unveiled as the 6th and 7th member of the Shrewdies. We will be going into the comp as rank outsiders but the "underdog" title could well suit us and we might just surprise a few.
At the time of writing the forum legend that is Chavman has failed to accept the offer of a place on our team. I want to finalise the team before Saturday....but I think its only fair I give Chav until 1pm tomorrow to reply before I then go on a scouting trip. |

Yeah, lets give it a good go, Sontaran. I hope you're fresh and well and about to run into form. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of bettor are you? Are you a formbook, replays, or notebook man? Or a mix of those? Do you use speed figures and/or stats? It would be interesting to find out how yourself and the other members of the team arrive at your selections. |

Hello Tiger. Yeah, we can all post on the same day but it would be nice to see our selections scattered throughout the week. How's your form at the moment? I can count on one hand how many lucky 15s I do each month but its nice to find a bit of form with my NH selections.

My form at the moment is very iffy, I'm a form man but partially led by system based selections. Lets give it a go. Each day of the week is the same for me so I'm as likely to put a selection up on a Tuesday as I am on a Saturday.

nap wise, but OK in multiples, tend to be a form man mostly but will throw the odd tracker horse in now and again.

Duke Of Hazzard 3:25 Salisbury Win Horse is in form, sort of going back to its Ascot race a few weeks ago to fish out some good runs from other horses next time out, decent 3 year old but can't seem to get its nose in front as a 4 year old |

Did get some bad luck in running last time out as well but stayed on well at 7f, winner had gone by the time it got out of trouble though

All aboard the shrewdie express,destination unknown,thanks for having me. Just the 14 selections,in as many weeks,should be interesting. Stick with your thoughts SS,Chavman has the desired attitude. That saturday every other week,might be the time for a little team tactics,Whippin will be on the case. Good to see plenty of chat going on in the changing room before kick off.
It was interesting to read some of the comments about how some of you guys find your selections. The general consensus seems to be that good, recent form is what you look for and the 2 selections put up by team members today certainly fit into that category.Songtaran & Chav are firing the first 2 shots for the team today. Good luck with them and let's hope we can get off the mark for the season. |
