Tyson Fury has to win,if only to **** a snook at the PC brigade that are squealing about a man with opinions. The more pygmy politcians and quangocrats complain about him being there the more I aminclined to vote for the first time ever !
By:
What exactly has Fury achieved. He is even bigger than the aging Ukrainian and couldn't even knock him down unlike a few others have managed. Hardly in the same class as Murray,Ennis,Rutherford,Farah or a few more.

By:
He did my drive yesterday for £300,000 and it still looks ok...gets my vote.
By:
does anyone have a link to the telegraph poll

By:
cheers, very strange format that poll, you can vote people down as well as up
By:
Ultimately only the positive votes matter
By:
And you can pick more than one I think which is odd but when faced with a single choice likely to favour Murray I'd have thought.
By:
Given he has the most votes, that sounds quite logical
the previous telegraph poll had him on about 3x the rest, except Sinfield, who looked a bit hacked |
By:
Probably people clicking their mouse to find out wtf he is

By:
Can see a fury/sinner flip flop coming
The casual grunt punters will favour tyson, especially if they fancy voting for him Will write off Sinner |

By:
Ennis-Hills achievement this year is more impressive than the Olympics because of what she has had to overcome. The occasion shouldn't matter, she has won Gold again after the pregnancy. Plus in 2012 Murray Won Wimbledon and the Olympics so his achievement then was more impressive
By:
Are you just on a 24 hour loop?
By:
Murray won Wimbledon in 2013.. not 2012
By:
Gave you all the winner on Dec 14 last year, the OP - hth
![]() |
By:
same thing you post every year, and at a time of **** prices jr ;)
By:
Both Telegraph polls massively hacked and current values worthless
By:
which candidates do you think are hacked clyde?
By:
Fury and Sinfield definitely. Murray probably. Fury and Sinfield have a variance of 81 to 55% and Murray 47 to 32%. Everyone else except Lizzie Armistead has a variance of less than 9%
By:
The Murray vote was definitely hacked
![]() |
By:
That's 81 - 45%, not 55%. So for example for every 181 new votes Fury gets, I think he should have been getting 100, so he's getting 81% more ,or, for every 100 votes he's getting he should've been getting 55, so he's getting 45% less.
By:
Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by "variance" CB in relation to the poll ?
By:
The movement has been consistent within +/-9% for 8 of the 12 runners. Armistead was 18%
By:
Are you saying that certain contestants have received vote surges rather than a steady continued vote ?
By:
yep hemsby,
By:
Thanks CB.
By:
I haven't followed it too closely TBH,but I did notice a surge for Sinfield at one point.
By:
The weekly Telegraph SCD poll was hacked last week in favour of Katie,so it has previous
![]() |
By:
I actually respect Sinfield's chance. Only the Tony McCoy campaign comes close and it's likely to be a very split vote. But I think he's being ramped.
By:
As I posted earlier,I could make a case for Murray,Ennis,Sinfield or Fury winning.
Working out how successful the Sinfield campaign will be is very difficult.I noticed today a few of the rival RL clubs to Leeds Rhino's pledging their support to Sinfield for SPOTY....whether this persuades rival fans to vote for him is difficult to say. Sean Long one of the notable RL big names to publicly support Sinfield's SPOTY bid. |
By:
Strikes me as a year where the voting numbers may be lower than usual,so perhaps ideal situation for a campaign to be successful.
By:
given the fury nonsense, i think voting will be up on last year, and good for a non olympic year
By:
It must be my turn for a RAMP:)
Last year the telegraph poll came in at under the actual percentages for all 4 females short listed, 4 mediocre female candidates managed a fairly staggering 38% of the total vote between them, this year there is one outstanding female candidate.;) |
By:
Hammy or rory not natural female choices Rich, one of the leading males is, only one ;)
By:
how many of the 5m women that watched the dc final were female? ;)
By:
Muzza the wise trade every year, GB, as you know, & prices in 20-55 range post-US Open one of the great SPOTY trades of all-time.
By:
his vote will be at least 60% women imo
By:
40% bbc employees
By:
Is there any kind of anti-Fury tactical vote likely to happen?
By:
No
