i underestimated how strong the murray vote would be. I thought his independence views and the fact he's won it before would have had more of an impact. that was my only error, albeit quite a profound one!

Was 150 after I hoovered up the 1000. Posted at 150 both in this and grand final thread. BTW do you mean mug bets like wiggo at 100s when he won. ;)

Class effort. I smashed on at 15s and nearly collected. Great story for RL and Sinfield.

If sinfields well organised campaign can get him that many votes then one must conclude that the campaign to get NHS to xmas number 1 could also be equally successful

Unlucky sinfield backers. We nearly did it despite the doubters. Nearly my first 1000 winner, but some consolation with 16/1 forecast and some decent email souvenirs from the spoty shortlist panel baroness Tammi grey etc.

Murray, a huge boxing fan, defended Fury after the ceremony to reporters, calling his win “an incredible achievement”. “Not everyone obviously has to agree with what he said but I do believe that he has the right to say it. That’s freedom of speech and people have the right to disagree with what he says as well.”

And why not!!! Nothing wrong with a bit of emotion; it is, after all, the driving force behind most of the results in the events we play. 1.01 jr`s feeling similarly (tired and) emotional

Poor Fury (and me) denied a place because his supporters were too thick to know how to vote. If every "how do you vote"? tweeter had gone to school he'd have been clear third Sad
