Don`t know and, at these prices, don`t really care! With so many yet to show their hands, all the publicity campaigns, sales figures, downloads etc. etc. all waiting to change the market, an easy max red for me.

Maybe Sweden is a lay? We've heard the lot and I don't think they've got an ESC winner.
Sanna seems the most Eurovisiony (I personally prefer Ellen). |

Ireland decide tonight,On RTE radio this morning Laura ONeil's mentor was complaining that it is fixed for eggnog to win, as Louie Walsh will be the spokes person for the panel on the on the show tonight.
BF sportsbook still have him @3.5 best price on the HS. Ollie has been tweeting suport for him, and with Louie in the drivers seat practicing the black arts what can go wrong ![]() |

By:
How is it scored? pv and panel?
By:
"As was the case in previous years, Ireland's Eurovision entry will be selected by a combination of public and regional jury vote"
By:
Not sure what influence Louis will have then. Overegging eggnog won't fool anyone.
By:
I think Eggnog has a decent chance tonight. He'll need to win the televote, and be no more than 10pts adrift after Juries have voted if last years scoring format is used again.
The other songs could easily spread some of the jury love around which may also help him. |

from the Mirror
apols if already posted, not really been keeping up with things The BBC have announced the UK's Eurovision Song Contest 2014 entrant was found with the help of BBC Introducing The UK entry for Eurovision 2014 will be announced on Monday March 3 Months of speculation will come to an end on Monday as the United Kingdom's entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest is revealed. The BBC has confirmed the act has been selected and their song recorded with them both being revealed on Monday March 3 2014 via the Red Button and the iPlayer. The unveiling will be hosted by Radio One DJ Scott Mills, with the official BBC Eurovision Twitter account writing: "OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: @scott_mills will premiere our UK act and song in a Red Button, iPlayer exclusive next Monday at 7.30pm." Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, X Factor stars Stacey Solomon and Rylan have all been rumoured to be in the running to represent their country but it now seems the BBC has gone in a different direction in an attempt to win the contest for the first time since 1997. |

Writing on the BBC blog, Guy Freeman, Executive Producer of Eurovision for the BBC revealed this year's act was chosen with the help of BBC Introducing.
He writes: "This [BBC Introducing] is the gateway for undiscovered and unsigned music makers to upload their best tracks and get them heard and featured by the BBC. "Some of the artists who’ve received BBC Introducing support at the start of their careers include Florence and The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks and Jake Bugg. "We carefully approached a few artists who stood out to us and once they understood what we were trying to achieve, they embraced the idea of writing a song for the competition from scratch. "Knowing that they’d be the one who’d have to go out there and sell it, they could write specifically to exploit their talents. "The end result is that we now have a powerful and impressive song that we hope will do us proud in Copenhagen." * The United Kingdom's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed via BBC Red Button on Monday 3 March at 7.30pm and we'll be LIVE BLOGGING the event here |

you can watch the, The Late Late Show Eurosong 2014 Special with the RTE player
http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/live/8/ Come on Eggnog ![]() |
By:
At least RTE have a comp instead of a BBC pick
By:
I am watching mach, was not sure there would be much chat.
I still think Eggnog can win, songs 3 and 5 may split the biggest jury spoils though. |
By:
Billy did Laura no favours
By:
She could get some sort of sympathy vote from the public to come 2nd behind Eggnog in the televote which would do him no harm. Song 3 will probably be top with juries.

Spoils has an in running market, they have never allowed me more than a tenner since I opened the account, joke firm for specials
By:
Can-linn 1.73
Eoghan Quigg 2.4 Laura ONeill 8 Andrew Mann 34 Patricia Roe 67 |
By:
Both Spoils and PP ir.
Neither much good to me, but I got a bit on at better odds anyway over the past few weeks. |
By:
looking ok so far for Eggnogg
By:
boo, eggnog ends up 2nd
By:
What a farce that was calling it a draw

As soon as i heard the chorus of the winning Irish song it immediately reminded me of last years winning song from Denmark.
By:
I don't know about you, but I think in terms of a winning song, Sweden is about to make a big mistake.
By:
They have a song in their choices that could win, but they're going to go for sub-par Europop sung by a woman who looks like a worn out mannequin.
By:
I agree. If they pick Sanna they'll be very lucky to finish top 10
What's the one you like SorA? |

Ireland continues with the mediocrity

By:
As for the UK, I'd rather have a proper contest but at least we're going to send someone young and hopefully talented this year and not some washed out has been
By:
I have changed my mind about MF. I think SoD has had the most impact of the songs so far tonight and now stands a better chance than J.E.M.
By:
I like Ellen Benediktsson.
By:
I think that song is a possible winner, none of the others are.
By:
Well you will please some of the forumites.
I now expect the duellists to be: Helena Martin State Of Drama Linus or Outtrigger. |
By:
Outrigger and Ammotrack might both cancel each other out. There's an argument to be made for most of the songs really, but Helena and SoD have the most impactful songs for me.
By:
Called the right 5 songs anyway. So much for the 2nd favourites.
By:
You have good taste SorA
![]() I reckon Ace Wilder would do well too. Surprised JEM didn't get through. The market seemed to know again Martin my main bet, so I hope you are right pk. |
By:
Well, the market expected JEM in the top 5 for sure, and SoD not. Someone was offering higher and higher prices on the latter, so will be interesting to see who comes 5th.
By:
Good money to lay JEM @ 3+ appeared. Did they announce them 6th?
By:
No, there was a technical glitch on the scoreboard so it wasn't at all clear.
By:
The market points towards Helena and Linus
By:
Duel A is
Outrigger VS Helena |
By:
Martin v Linus next?
By:
We won't know until after this duel, but it would not amaze me if it was Martin vs SoD. Where could the teen vote go tonight? Maybe to the 1D type song?
