The Polish song was catnip for UK voting demographic, as was Austria. Do not think it was purely diaspora. Conchita apparently a vote for 'tolerance' & yet there were vast swathes of the live audience booing the Russian twins

They love novelty, in an ESC context George - Russian grannies, Jedward, Poland this year, & Austria of course, sadly. Bearded drag act cost me my biggest ever tv betting win. Netherlands winning semi 1 softened the blow.
