When: 18 Dec 13 22:10
unless they stick a darts player on the committee

might get nommed if he wins 20 or 25 !
By:
GeorgeBrush
When: 18 Dec 13 22:12
Surely he scores 20 or 25 all the time?

If Taylor wasn't nominated last year, he needs the rest of the field to come back to him, rather than him catch up.

Tiernan-Locke tested positive as well recently. Must be every other member of Team Sky on it apart from Wiggins and Froome Surprised

Poor show from you SPOTY guys.
I thought most people were keen on a shortlist market.
Jim goes to the trouble of requesting one and starting a thread and no one responds

next up winter olympics and 6 nations rugby

Continuing doubts over Muzza fitness going to keep the market very open I think.

Not much attractive in the pricing at the moment apart from maybe footballers as a back-to-lay

I don't see the winter Olympics providing a winner although it provide some price drops, rugby needs a world cup year imo.

wales winning a grand slam in a poor year for spoty  will provide a nomination, and we saw what happened
with 1/2p. its mostly covered by bbc

the scottish wimmins hairdressing team are expected to do well in the olympics, 4 million watched them 4 years ago, another decent chance of a nomination

Big leap between 1/2p placing in a Lions year and actually winning I think.

Winter Olympics a really bad time of year for SPOTY with no events to follow it up that anyone is actually going to watch
By:
donny osmond
When: 23 Jan 14 17:16
if 1/2p gets nominated the welsh will do their stuff

i agree the two events are early in the year

wales will have some autumn internationals

the scottish hairdressers will be a one hit wonder, but in a poor year ......

It's a great shame that more people haven't put their name to requesting Betfair start a "Who Will Make The 2014 BBC Sports Personality of The Year Shortlist?" market.

It's early in the year, like now, where there are many 'maybes' and 'possibles' that such a market would be fun.

You can still add your intererst at: http://community.betfair.com/specials/go/thread/view/94178/30159889

Come on people! Let's get this market added and then you can decide 'as', 'when' or 'if' you wish to get involved!
