I think he'll win Wimby again. But like GB says, depends on the competition too. Especially having polled so highly today.

Has anyone ever won it two years on the trot - that's got to have a bearing.  Although, if it's a dry year Murray might have a shout

Only Henry Cooper (1967 and 1970), Nigel Mansell (1986 and 1992) and Damon Hill (1994 and 1996) have won it twice. So no, nobody has defended SPOTY.

They'll have more bearing than the WGames and WCup

Personally don't think Murray wins Wimbledon next year. Rafa looked seriously juiced up at US Open and there's always a chance Murray's injury is a little bit more permanent than has been let on/they think it is

honestly I'd go for Gerrard or Rooney if the price was right

That price has to be bigger than England for the World Cup, otherwise you're betting on the wrong market. But if England were to manage the miracle, then a footballer wins guaranteed.

Think getting to the semi-final would be enough for a footballer to win, that ain't gonna happen though

The CG will be a big event but the competition isnt strong enough to deliver an outstanding performance from a household name capable of capturing the award
