How about Shola Ameobi? He was added to the World Cup top goalscorer market last week so you never know.

Absolutely no idea this year.  Lay Farah seems like a plan.

I'm surprised no one asked Eddie the Eagle to be added this year after his victory on Splash

Lay Farah.
Lay cricketers.
Lay golfers.
Lay Froome.
Lay Phil Taylor.

Wouldn't rule out Murray again. Laura Robson if she could do the truly remarkable. No idea if we have any medal hopes in Sochi, but doubt they'd catch the public imagination nor do so still ten months or so later. It'd be a miracle if we won the World Cup, so that wouldn't do them much hope.

Open field potentially.

Can't argue with facts. He had one of his best years and didn't even get a nomination.

I think Murray would need to win Wimbledon, another GS and get to no.1 to win.

I think he'll win Wimby again. But like GB says, depends on the competition too. Especially having polled so highly today.

Farah isn't intending on running at the Commonwealth Games GB, much to the annoyance of the games organisers

Thanks CB, I wasn't gonna really back him Wink

A world record could be enough for him, but he's well short atm
