They'll react more to that result Henners. Voting will double next week
By:
But this time it's more a problem for them. This series the public have been reacting against their manipulations.
True Henry, but more than that they've lost control - they can't manipulate the outcome as much as normal as they've lost one of the most powerful weapons in their armoury. Ironic of course that Ella and James were 2nd & 3rd in running order, with the late slots safe. Maybe order has been restored - but a little too late for TPTB! |
By:
But with the voting numbers set to increase significantly you'd expect Jahmene and James to lead by a distance next week. James might even top the vote in a mega bounce...
By:
Chris's percentage can only diminish from here as the voting numbers ramp up. Especially with Rylan still in - as he'll soak up the anti-Cowell vote more than Baloney.
By:
James has a long way back from here. Never exactly come across as 'Mr Popular' with his song choices and style and the bigie is we have proof he isn't getting enough votes. If anything I see Chris as the main challenger who's done nothing wrong and sailed safely through every round.
By:
Yep, James top next week I'm sure
By:
Jahmene could even be a b2 risk
By:
I'd make Jahmene 4/9 already so I'd get on now chaps if I were you. He's almost even money!!!
By:
Never mind the boyband vote being split, I think James and Ella have similar fans/voters. I think most Ella fans go to James, especially after last night.
By:
Though prolly unlikely if people are scared into voting for their favs
By:
He could be George but would very much doubt it.
By:
JLS were top after they were in the B2 iirc.
By:
Oh, yes. Plenty of examples. I'd love it if you could get top the vote prices
By:
Danyl another zzzzz Misha iirc
By:
Spot on Squares. Ella fans will be motivated to vote finally, but with her out will switch their allegience to James. I know I will!

Looking historically. The race is often decided next week in the quarter final
By:
Amelia another
By:
Amelia Lily bounced to top the vote last year of course, as well...
A B2 position at this stage in the competition has often been enough to bounce into final - JLS, Olly, Amelia. |
By:
Olly a great example yep
By:
I listed them on the order watch thread last week, and the disaster that performing in trap 2 is for future success in the series.

Anything but Jahmene eh!!

Exactly! Can't bare to even mention his name. Clear favourite, big rival gone, next in the betting been B2. It's all over!!! Happy days ![]() |

"I listed them on the order watch thread last week, and the disaster that performing in trap 2 is for future success in the series."
Slot 2 (Ella) the worst for future success and slot 3 (James) 2nd worse. The only 2 slots in the final 6 never to have produced a winner. |
By:
Interesting Henry.
By:
So "they" certainly didn't help those 2 with their respective slots and they were the only 2 without an ad break between them.
By:
You don't believe in grassy knolls Lou, so don't start now
By:
It's a perfect result for Cowell
By:
How much of your outright did you lose on Ella Lou?
By:
I'm not really.
By:
iirc Ella was your 2nd green Lou
![]() |
By:
Dizzy
Never backed her for 1p. How much did you lose? |
By:
By:
Deliberate to get one or both b2
By:
Ella was only second biggest green because I never layed her but layed just about every other act bar the winner.
By:
Deliberate to get one - but I think it backfired in getting both.
By:
Lou - stop the gloating then.
