Eh?
You came on a betting thread and posted misinformation and the idiots fell for it. When called out one of you deleted it to hide your stupidity Deliberately misleading betting markets is a bit of a no no as you should well know. At least one of you, or somebody else had it deleted. Idiots |

Deliberately misleading betting markets ?
Where is your evidence of deliberate misinformation being posted by anyone and more to the point how would you know anybody "fell for it" and bet accordingly ? I would certainly never bet without checking things out and i'm pretty sure nobody else on here would. |

Deliberately misleading betting markets

I've no idea if any of the idiots bet on the info
But none of the idiots pointed out that the info was false. No doubt somebody cleared the posts after I pointed out they'd been had. |
|
By:
I posted the 2024 GE result and some tea bag deleted it. Betfair in its wisdom appears to have given someone who is active on the forum, admin rights.

By:
I've no idea if any of the idiots bet on the info
So why did you make the "deliberately misleading betting markets" claim if you had no evidence of such ? Plenty of people say things on all forums that are erroneous or at best their own guesswork. If anyone bets on such "information" without doing due diligence then that is their own fault. |

You came on a betting thread and posted misinformation
and the idiots fell for it. When it was Circling of the possible Candidate The Price Shortened Donnie , Maybe some folks were ok with the possible Candidate ? There are lots of rumours regarding elections , doesnt mean people are ramping Markets they are 2.4 to Back at the Moment they were 2.7 plus earlier ,Strange ramping IMO |
|
By:
I posted it too, it's still there.
Then you said you'd posted it, and reposted it And it's still there (last time I looked) |
|
By:
Price has come down since the ramping was disproved
and the idiots covering their tracks. |
|
By:
22.20 was to cider about him posting election result.

By:
I've no idea if any of the idiots bet on the info
So why did you make the "deliberately misleading betting markets" claim if you had no evidence of such ? Lol, you really are an idiot. |

Price has come down since the ramping was disproved Comedy gold ![]() |

By:
Comedy gold, but a true fact.
|
|
By:
There was no ramping, that's a true fact.

My post was removed Donnie , They were 2.7 Yesterday at what point was there a drift due to ramping ?
Infact my Post was about 17.00 Hours the money appears to have started piling on then , Not sure it has anything to do with people reading this Forum Donnie , No ramping involved |
|
By:
The original post was deleted. The image was also deleted from my gallery. However I still had the snip in my recent docs file, so I put it up again.
Obviously I didn't notice it was deleted until you started referring the the 2024 result, claiming that would be significant. No shiit, lol. I had already posted the data you posted again, but when I scrolled up it was gone. Why would someone report/delete a post that is screenshot taken from a government website of an election result ![]() |
|
By:
No idea, as my cut and paste was from the same site!
Pretty sure I wouldn't have posted if yours was there. Although sometimes I can miss posts if I don't refresh forum. |
|
By:
So now we not only have posts that disappear when you click post reply, they can now get randomly deleted for no reason. I wonder how many more posts I have had surreptitiously deleted

Donnie has still failed explain why the price would have drifted ? The price that didnt drift that is ..
Perhaps there was Overnight Ramping going on ![]() |

If genuine I think the original green candidate had a muslim sounding name, the 'speculative' one didn't. Whatever the politics are around that, I think it's reasonable to say that could have been material to the outcome. However market participants interpreted it. I don't feel it was a deliberate attempt to influence the market. But someone could have acted on it. If my recollection is correct. The market in general has been gravitating back to where it was before it overreacted to the opinion poll that was published. That would be my read.
|
|
By:
We did all the prices yesterday and cider called the drift and then
as the rumour unwound the price came back in I'm not sure if you remember stuff 5 minutes after it happens these days Then you picked up on the misinformation, posted it on here and the groovy gang piled in with their hilarity I called out misinformation by which time some posts were already gone. Others followed. Posting misinformation would be a big thing for a gambling site to be involved in, if they wish to retain a semblance of being a top exchange for politics betting. No idea why ciders post would be deleted |
|
By:
Anything I posted have been my analysis and how I saw it going. Obviously the game changer so to speak was the constituency opinion poll. I'm guessing some people reacted to it to try and beat the market without realising it was less than robust. I was pretty confident that it would regress once the market had digested it. But I guess that's where ability (or otherwise) comes in.

I've not had any bets today, happy with my posi for the time being.

Market is manipulated. As are most politics markets these
days as they are relied upon by media outlets who dont realise, yet, that they are manipulated. If you can read the actual chances you will get plenty more opportunities to get in, or out or both... repeatedly. |
|
By:
Maybe. Pretty standard in specials/politics that someone has knowledge that you don't. I still recall the pogues lol. But I still beat them, and while that's the case, I will keep playing.
|
|
By:
Can still win up to a certain level.
Bigger markets, can win a bit more. Price moving again as green elected their candidate, announced tomorrow at 11am,...or on twitter 40 minutes ago. |
|
By:
There's different ways of playing too. Some don't mind stalking the internet 20 hours a day hoping to be first to see some or other piece of important detail. I have no interest in doing that whatsoever. Often the advantages come after the market has reacted, like yesterday, as it usually overbakes the significance.
|
|
By:
I suppose I do that once a year for #1, but it's worth it. Nothing like as full on as it used to be, fortunately!
|
|
By:
Stalking the Internet you won't be first, but might
be some left after they move. If indeed they punt, if they don't then it's free monets. |

Regarding Market Moves , there appears to be Folks piling on about the time I posted of the possible Greens Selection

Labour have chosen a candidate named "Not Burnham"

Greens/Polanski. Apparently was a member/activist of the LibDems and a big backer of the coalition government so has already experienced political failure. Reasons for giving them up not clear but latched on to the Greens in 2017.

Yak hunt 09.26. You post as if I should know better, which I do, and, as if being normal practice somehow makes it acceptable, which it doesn’t.
Every time I see it I highlight it. The BBC needs regular calling out for its political interference and bias. So I do to keep it on the forum debate. |
