Hypnosis!

Brawling over king or pope to be replaced by right or left?

It’s astonishing how much of an alternate reality it is. While I find the political views ill thought through, reactionary, self defeating and unpleasant and based on a very poor grasp of what’s going on, this is a step beyond. It’s really stark just how removed from reality a high proportion of the US population (and a small slice of nut job gamblers here) are, as evidenced by a pig headed refusal to believe in things that have obviously happened.

Fats, you name it, there will always be conspiracy theorists who will not accept anything as fact. Man on the moon, JFK, Diana, Covid Hoax, Trump loses...

What's worse, they then bet on it!

Oh I know. The delusion isn’t the shock, it’s how mainstream it is.

but even if you think the election was completely **** seriously the chances the courts are gonna get involved to overturn it are infinitely small and he needs 3 or 4 states reversed not just 1

Money in the bank can always be otherwise invested.

I got my cash isa statement yesterday, 1.66%, ffs.

I got my FTSE 100 Index Tracking Fund shares ISA statement in October, it was down by 15%. I'd have been very happy with 1.66%!

I think that with the way their recent statement was written, and with SCOTUS rejecting the Texas case before the 14th, I think they will settle shortly after electors meet on the 14th, assuming nothing strange happens on that date.

If they sacked help desk staff for talking rubbish, there'd be no one left.

If guessing or giving incorrect answers was cause for termination for Betfair customer service agents, they wouldn't have many people left on those jobs.

Prices all seem to be contracting with a resolution possibly being tomorrow. Biden now 1.02/1.03.

Judging by how difficult it is to get someone, I think it's happened. I'd love to see
what BF Towers is like inside.

Our traders = two blokes, careworn and cynical saying 'feck off' to everyone.

Support = two twenty somethings masquerading under 50 different names saying 'feck off' to everyone.

Tech = two bitter old programmers who think javascript is just a fashion and can't wait to go back to COBOL,
who tell everyone to 'feck off'.

Marketing = two miserable gits that Paddy Power were going to sack. Guess what they say to everyone?

HR = don't be fecking silly, HR?

Without £50m sitting at 1.01 and 1.02 it would be over. It takes a while to bite away at
that size of bet. I know that I am stating the obvious, but you can see what I'm saying.

This market isn't X-matched by BF, is it?

Don't be absurd Charlton - the consensus is that betfair are not abiding by their rules. Obviously when they have ignored their rules and given a new date when they expect the market to be settled, the consensus expects them to do that. But it is notable that despite that you can still back against Biden.

Lol, That was the one I was thinking about too. Where do all these incredibly stupid and naive people come from? Surely if they see a price at 20 plus in a two horse race it should set alarm bells ringing rather than complaining they missed 30 plus yesterday.

I strongly suspect timbuctooth lost upwards of £20K going by the bets he posted on that democrat nominee market.
