@ cp - it seems you have misunderstood slightly , It is true you can forget about any other runner in this race
You are voting on who will become Next President based on those standing for election - When you vote Not based on some other circumstance which might lead to someone else becoming president You are not expected to know any other possibile circumstance that might occur Such as an act of god , whatever Now let’s put any such nonsense aside You are voting on who will be the next president ,Trump or Biden One of those two ( god willing) will become president next year Betfair in their wisdom don’t want us to have to wait until then to settle So , you are betting on the race to become next president between Trump , Biden and to determine that the mechanism used is projected votes But , those projected votes can change , the important thing is that they are correct They are still projected votes right up until the vote takes place And only then are they no longer projected votes That’s when you will known if your bet has won or lost And the outcome settled —-CORRECTLY It’s not a diffucult concept to understand , and agree with |

Ah, but it's not Trumps money. It's the mugs that believe his lies that paid for it.

talking of mugs
A man who donated $2.5m to help Donald Trump's crusade to overturn the elections is asking for his money back. Fred Eshelman, the donor, is suing Houston-based "True the Vote Inc" for what he claims are "empty promises," Bloomberg reported. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election/fred-eshelman-donald-trump-lawsuit-voter-fraud-b1762554.html?utm_source=reddit.com € |

If you go to the 'Trump Percentage Market', people are trying to BACK Trump getting a percentage of 61% or more at odds of 40.00 for nearly £1,000.
By my calculation this equates to Trump getting something in the order of 94 million votes. He currently has 74 Million. I am assuming that they are Expecting/Hoping that ALL the postal votes will be declared null and void? Also, by my calculation, even if that happened, Trump would still NOT get 61% of the votes. |

It's the Trump campaign's money. The lessons from "Art of the Deal" in action.

You are partly correct - Your calculation itself is fine The trick here is - People backing at 36/40 are speculating , votes for Biden will be VOID , for instance abesentee voting This could reduce the total votes from 159 mio to for instance 130 mio Long shot for sure , but this is the reasoning behind the odds see for instance - https://tass.com/world/1229103 |

The market rules for popular vote numbers are based on CNN reported. That they’ve not settled these, at least, is bonkers, even beyond how bonkers it is that they’ve not settled all the outstanding markets.
