It's pretty clear from the article, that we can continue trading on a temporary basis for possibly two years without any problems under WTO rules until an agreement is reached.
The word to stress there is temporary. So if both sides agree, and why shouldn't they if it's in the best interests of all parties? It seems the best way to handle a no deal exit giving us plenty of time to adjust. |

off course one might ask if its as simple as you seem to state why didn't the EU and the uk break on wto rules 2 years ago
why dont greece,italy.portugal etc,etc all say they leaving give it a go under wto rules ,stay as they are for 2 years pay nothing for the privilege and see how it goes, seems a foooking rather selective reading of the wto rules as usual from the NO DEAL NO PROBS LOONS IMO |

It can't be long before that kicks off. Or perhaps they like working for low wages driven by competition from the continent? Not to mention being ruled by the EU. Then there's the Euro, Tony Blair that great remainer can't wait to get us trapped in the Euro. So what game is he playing and whose side is he on? I'd love to know who pulls Tony Blair's strings. |

mr Brexit sorry mr Weatherspoon pays the legal minimum £8.10p althought 1000,s of companies pay the higher ,living wage, nothing stopping mr Brexit payiny 10,11,12,13,14 quid an hr if he wishes, if mr Weatherspoon got a boris jiohnson government and his beloved Singapore on thames more chance of mr Brexit paying £7 an hr

That’s a better attempt at the link but an even worse interpretation of the article. They have no concerns about EU mechanism, the details of Brexit negotiations, the divorce bill or trade arrangements. They’re interested in the intellectual and cultural elements of Europe and afraid that people and movements, funnily enough like ones you espouse, could vandalise what has been a force for civilised progress. Did you actually read the article?
