Ze King; Well backed latest but over wrong distance imo. Today might suit?

Semeral; Ticks the boxes today (possible double for Chris Wall)

Temple Road; Drop in dist suited LTO and trainer good with Top Wt/WLTO combo

Very Good Day; Stats pick in big race for Channon 2 yrs ago but never seen.
Fahey might have got it back to best.

Solar Diety; Might be at right distance today (8.5f was it's last win). Been tried  over 9.5 lately and running well. Regular rider (Harley)at meeting but Luke Morris up today. Also has been Top Weight in previous races and lacks a penalty today.

The maiden races at this time of year are best avoided.
Most Top Score (or rated) start odds on and there is little value.

Generally the Top Scores in hcps are favourites and the price limit of 4/1 is the set price for betting to win.

On that basis today Gabrials Wawa and Noble Gift are my probable bets
Mindurownbusiness is another and is interesting to see if Roger Varian can improve this from leaving David Simcock.

Bertie Blu Boy is an apprentice race and not my favourite type.
Trainer is in good form though.

Looks like Mike Appleby has the answer to this race with both runners Top Scores.
Teajaybe coming back from a long break and having first run for trainer. It beat Adili (for Chris Dwyer) over 16f here giving 11 lb and today is 2 lb worse off.
Adili has been top score or NB in all 4 of its races since coming back from a long break on Dec 13th. It has been favourite in last three races. The difference today is it's L2 weight (2nd from Bottom) compared to Top 1 in first two races.
Alistair Rawlinson (5lb) takes the ride today and over it's preferred distance should be the one.

I backed Barbs Princess last time and thought George Baker had a bit more in reserve.
