A fond farewell from me today as this will be my last post. It's been fun and I may make the odd
post in future just to keep in touch.
The closest I came yesterday was Chachamaidee who didn't quite seem to see out the mile but probably lost the race at the start as it lost many lengths and had to come from too far back.
2.30 Reckless Abandon 2 pts win
Beat Annunciation fair and square first time out and should confirm form at the weights. Hughes seems to have passed over Cay Verde which is a bit surprising so he must consider Annunciations's chance is better.
3.05 Momentary 4 pts win
This race has traditionally been a graveyard for Oaks contestants so I will pass them over and go for Momentary who beat Shirooco Star at Newbury and that one did best in the classic. It will be frustrating if Kailani wins as that was my Oaks bet and she had no chance after being impeded at the top of the hill at Epsom.
3.45 Colour Vision 1 pt win
This one did us proud at Kempton earlier in the year but was turned over here last year by both Fame And Glory and Opinion Poll. That was over 2 miles and the extra half a mile should suit but in truth it has it all to do against the favourite today.
4.25 Trader Jack 5pts win - max
Roger Charlton's horse got bogged down at Sandown on his reappearance but ran really well over an extra two furlongs and looked all over the winner at this distance last time. Very difficult race but a big price as a result so fingers crossed.
5.00 Rewarded 1 pt win
My old friend Rewarded turns out again and I have followed him through thick and thin so won't desert him today and hope he has a little more luck in running this time
5.35 Niceofyoutotellme 4 pts win
Was put away after his win at Pontefract in April and is bred to apprecaiate the step up in trip. Seems to be reasonably well handicapped in what is again a difficult race to predict as many others have good form as well.
That's all folks
Good Luck And Goodbye
