Two big misses on Saturday which again illustrates the thin line between success and failure.

Hakuna Matata battled to the front and hit 1.12 in running only for Le Chat D'or to get back up - a turn around of 12 points and instead of a profit I am left with a double figure loss for the month to date.

Today is really a powder dry day with the likely non runners and ground changes so just a small interest :-

3.15 Folkestone  Chandigarh 1 pt win

This looks a match between Llewellyn and Chandigarh as they look like the only ones that will go on the ground. Llewellyn was good last time but may have been flattered by Benandonner running below par. Chandigarh won here in September after managing to get across to the stands side rail and at the prices is worth a small wager to do the same and upset the favourite with the prices as they are now (3/1 available)

3.45 Folkestone

This race is of interest as the three next to the stands side - Mary's Pet, Caramelita and Dancing Welcome - all handle the tesing ground and are all happy to front run. I can see a battle for the lead but it seems too difficult to call which one will succeed so no bet.
