Another blank day yesterday and all attempts to blast myself out of trouble have failed to date. I will continue to up stakes and hope for the best. Probably not the best policy but fortune favours the brave and I still have some accumulated profits although a lot less than before.


2.50 Sandown -  Sams Sharpe 4 pts win Weapon Of Choice 4 pts win

The ground was desperate when Weapon Of Choice got back up to beat Sam Sharpe over course and distance in April and it looks the same again today. Sam Sharpe has a pound less to carry and it was it's first run this year when it got beaten. Weapon Of Choice comes from a stable in form and it a real battler and I find it hard to split the two. Both trade at 13/2 on here so two big bets on both and fingers crossed.


3.10 York - Nameitwhatyoulike - 3 pts win

All races at York verge on the impossible and this race is no different. This horse has won setting the pace over longer trips so the drop back to 6 on slower ground mat be ok. Those drawn low seemed to have an advantage yesterday so with bottom weight from stall 3 it has a chance at around 14/1. It was bigger but regrettably Pricewise have made it his second choice so the 22/1 has gone.

3.15 Bath -  Valmina 4 pts win Diamond Vine 1 pt win

Valmina goes from strength to strength and could go in again over course and distance. Diamond Vine ran quite well here last time and again at Folkestone and has a weight pull with Valmina so shouldnt be 25/1.
