Yeah, looked through his form there and he had a few nice bits. Knew there had to be more to it. Still rouge or not rogue it must be hard to see him winning. Be interesting to see if Pipe the younger can get more outa him.

Still an absolute rogue, make no mistake about it,looked to have been under fierce pressure on the run in but ends up winning comfortably,
i wouldn't trust him with a cent of my money,He'll chuck it in more often than not.

Tipp tommorrow

Carry Each Other
Thouva
Panther Claw
Far Away so close
Il Fenomino
Rye Martini

All run and be disappointed if there was no winner from any of those especially Rye Martini.

Buckers Bridge makes his debut with the first 3 in the last race in the Novice Chase and for me will be one of Ireland best novice chasers.

Another fantastic winner today in Rye Martini who has run in 500+ days and comes back and wins.

Tomorrow the bandwagon continues

Cops and Robbers
War Correspondant

Those 2 could well win tomorrow!

I was fairly wrong about Sea of Thunder anyway. Ran well but ultimately well held by a horse I previously hadn't thought much of. I'd sat SoT will have the 4 miler as his target with DOC in the saddle.

Road To Riches looked like a very nice type yesterday. First time i'd seen him. A very well bodied horse who looks like a pure chaser. Rule The World has always looked a long term project and i'd say he won't be abused this year. He could be one for the Graded novice in Limerick at Christmas. Rye Martini did what you'd expect today and hopefully stays sound enough to allow him to progress into the good horse he is capable of being.

Cops and Robbers looks a good thing tomoro. I will be interested to see how War Correspondent runs. He is very well bred and could well have won either of his first two starts if things had gone differently. However he was looking noticeably poor when I saw him run in Rathcannon on final run when well beaten by the useful looking Beeves and unsurprisingly wasn't seen again. You would like to think he would collect tomoro if he turns up in the form he showed early last season.

Copes and Robbers trading well well odds on already. See earlier post a few weeks back I put up about the horse from another source.

I be wary of War tbh, Mouse are going fantastic well and Davy did say they have a good bunch down there. Strong in the early trading!

Sizing Rio went off 7/4 on the machine.

This was after C&P drifted from 1.4 to 1.9.

IIRC, was there a similar incident last November at Fairyhouse with a GT "hotpot"?...which subsequently won at the Festival [FL]

When cops and robbers was 1/4 on the boards he was 1.6 on here to decent money..........you can't beat a hard gallop of a sunday night.

There was something about First Lieutenant losing its action iirc?

Indeed if memory serves, P'Town.

The ground was utterly bottomless that day, if I recall.

He was turned over at a ridiculously short price, on the basis that a he hated the ground & that DR didn't wish to give him too hard a race.

All I can say on this having not seen Cops and Robbers is that maybe he ran into one there!. Market drift unlike Meade...HMMM

Shrapnel has moved stable to Elliott who now has a big big string of Giggy Horses

Road To Riches is a great prospect and one for you to follow.

Arguably the most exciting horse under Giggys Colours runs tomorrow in Rogue Angel. Have what you like on him, he cannot be beaten and will be well well odds on. 1/3 possibly!

Buckets of cash for Thouva who has been backed from 5/2 all the way into near 5/4 for beginners chase. As i said above Davy picked this chap ahead of 3 others at Punchestown that was called off

Yes very pleasing @ 4/1 FFS

I noticed that Sir Des Champs has been backed for the Gold Cup over the last few weeks and is now as short as 5/1 give or take a few points

Might need to make a stop off at Powers@ 6's soon

Carlito Mischief up to his usual tricks.

Good start for team Giggy,Roque angel 2/11 on here now.Did u manage to get matched at a decent price ruby??
By:
rubyisgodinthesaddle
When: 28 Oct 12 15:18
No not really dj got a good bit at around 1.3 but that was it and a few little bits at 1.5. Won well but the jumping was poor enough, every inch a chaser tho.

Even Shrapnel won, 3 out of 3.

By:
rubyisgodinthesaddle
When: 02 Nov 12 19:47
Bonisland looks a very smart horse and should be kept on the right path with Elliott.

2 bumpers winners over the weekend for Dessie Hughes and I said at the start of this thread you should watch his stable very closely and boy have they paid dividends pity I have no taken my own advice.

Down Royal this weekend and we shall see what way Quito and Bog Warrior are in, surprised actually Bog Warrior is running as nothing came to light after his rancid effort at Naas last time.

Big horse for me over the weekend is at Cork on Sunday and Rule The World will win and I will be having my wad on him

Ruby what do u reckon about Bog warrior tomorrow??Tony Martin's horses are in form and Russell is apparently talking him up??Not a betting race for me but should be interesting
By:
rubyisgodinthesaddle
When: 03 Nov 12 12:45
Sizing Europe is out so Quito has a great chance now to get his season off to a winning start. I could not back him but I be cheering him on big time obviously.

DJ Bog Warrior is a horse I cant work out as I am a huge fan but he has cost me in the pocket at xmas last year. I hope he is back to his best and betting he is surprisingly strong for a horse that was pulled up last time. Just hope he wins and see what were are dealing with then.

Cork tomorrow actually is very interesting Sea of Thunder and Tofino Bay run in the Novice Chase as well. Hopefully they will run well.

Next Week

Dedigout Could be a special chaser and is entered up at Punchestown during the week

Si C'Etait Vrai

Many of you who read this will know last year I said this chap was given the season off due to a problem with his wind and is back after a year on the grass. I can not state how high Gigginstown rate this fella. Dessie Hughes is back on serious form and this fella will make a cracking chasing prospect. He won his point by 24l and beat the Bull Hayes and Hidden Universe before things went ary after falling against Gagewell flyer etc. This chap is one to keep onside, maybe not until we see he still has his talent intact but he is going to the top if kept fit.

i can see Bog Warrior been shafted from the Martin yard,He's a trainer of handicappers.
if i was Mr o'leary he'd be in Mouse's yard by now
