No I do not but I will be focusing now on there horses for this year. Feel I have a good angle with them and much easier to read for me than others.

I will have no more than 4 bets a month on the 4 legs but I am already lining up my Sir Des Champs wager for the Gold Cup. Just wondering when is the right time to strike.

it's a great thread ruby.i see trifolium is entered up at punchestown on thurs in a hurdle race.can ya see him developing into a champion hurdle horse.ran a blinder at Cheltenham last yr.bit disappointing getting beat at punchestown after but I'm sure Davy would have held on longer if he could ride that Race again.giggy prefer their chasers so do ya reckon they'll keep this fella back for hurdles

unusually no runner  for them in the bumper tomorrow ..i suppose the fact its a mares only , they have very little , if any , mares in training ..i'm a little taken aback that such a massive organisation doesn't race and then breed from their own mares ..seems a shame which mr oleary needs to address imo....

Yeah Michael O Leary has simply no interest in Breeding and it would be a complete and utter farce for him to engage in it tbh. Look at McManus and his home breds most end up in the glue factory because the people advising him have no idea what they are doing.


4 runners in the beginners chase is a bit stupid IMO, but sure look they know what they are doing. Sword of Destiny is the choosen one and obvious the one that is expected to win. I expect him to run a very good race. Panther Claw is the next most interesting and he should hopefully show his ability being related to Empire of Dirt for the same owners under the Colm Murphy cares. Carry Each Other and Sweeney Tunes also are running and both are point winners which shows the level of depth they have in this particular race. Personally I hope they pull out 1 or even 2 in the morning and would not be surprised if they do especially Panther Claw. But look we can't complain 4 very interesting recruits over the big sticks.

McManus does breed, I don't know how many but he has plenty of expensive mares that have done nothing. Gant a perfectly take your point.

But look at him at the sales, its laughable he has barely any Grade 1 horses for a man that spends Millions literally 10s of million and has barely any top class horses bar Istrabraq and a few cross country horses and obviously a grand national but he and his advisors are completely inept. But do they care because half there horses never on there merits and they gamble big time so there is his joy from the game. THat is what he gets out of it beating the bookies.

MOL have a far far superior operation and I guarntee the differences between the 2 will be so obvious come the end of the year.

2 Different operations u could never find,Neither will ever show profit on the books(but the untouchables make it pay).
Aren't both operations not running under companies that are showing losses and used as tax write offs against profitable companies??

Why would you be worried about his jumping? He was top class bar the one mistake. He'll be better again on a more galloping track and he has already shown form at Cheltenham. He will win.

I missed you asking me about Elliots that won the bumper yesterday. To be honest I was surprised he was able to beat Meades though the latter will improve. Good start to his career all the same.

Road To Riches arrives in Tu Va from Meades good friend Martin Cullinane. Previous horses to make the trip across the country include Go Native, Ipsos Du Berlais and He's A Delight. I don't know much about Road To Riches though and despite winning impressively it was a poor maiden and he has a long way to got to justify the price tag. Being a son of Gamut wouldn't be an endearing quality either.

Unless I'm very much mistaken the cost of buying/training racehorses cannot be offset against other taxable income.

Nothing better coming home from a day in work to have a wad of cash trebled RULE THE WORLD looks every inch a potential top class horse, he powered in that mud today, very impressive.

Delighted with that and was baffled when i backed him at 9/4 this morning how big he was, it was such a poor race. Even Roi Du Mee won a great day for the team.

Trifolium for me should be over fences, he is a Grade 2 horse over hurdles. I forgive him that he be grand.

I leave Carlito and Sea of Thunder tomorrow and let them win or lose there races at there respective prices no interest betting wise but plenty otherwise.

i backed both their winners today ruby , backed roi du mee @ 7/1 with mulvaneys and backed it @ 2/1 w/o joncol...i backed rule the world @ 15/8 with trackbookmakers ...so had a fine day...rule the world got very warm , but won really well and should be one to follow while te ground is like it is ....backed roi de mee siply because he looked really well in the paddock and the run at gowran had really brought him on...carberry got him jumping well and he enjoyed himself out in front .... i'd say this fellow is best caught fresh ....
