Wouldn't worry about First Lieutenant's performance at all, there's only going to be one week of the season when he's in ball order and it's in March

Themouthof Flowers is one of the most interesting horses they have to have yet to see the track. Bought by them off their retained rider after falling 4out when cantering in his maiden in November 2010. Spent the last two years going in and out of training with Charles Byrnes and looks like he'll finally get to show what the hype is about.

They actually bought him in the run-up to his maiden run if I remember rightly. Ran under Davys name but in the Giggy silks.
Rogue Angel has gone to Mouse. Apparently Pat Doyle has a lot less 4yo's this year from them with Elliot being the main beneficiary, They have some fairly useful horses that didn't run in p2p's last year and should be making their debuts this side of Christmas. |

Has very positive things to say about the young horses in Mouse and Rathlin may run at the weekend. A bunch of new horses have been bought from France over the Summer, Davy does not know how many or even any of there names Exciting times |

Would never be a blinkered fan of one stable/one owners horses as I don't think it helps being biased when it comes to putting the money down but I can totally see why anyone is a fan of the Gigginstown operation. Also from what I can see every horse runs on their merits every day which is brilliant for the game. Long live Giggy! (Christ I think I'm becoming a 'fan')

They have had rubbish as any big owner but they are cutting the duds down every year. The reason they are keeping Rocky Wednesday is that he is young horse for a hunt horse.
I be surprised if they keep him for much in the future. |

I love davy dj, a fantastic rider. Sure what can you do with your in law's your screwed either way. I understand where your coming from but all giggy horses are run on there merits bar Midnight Oil last year

Sword of Destiny is back and looks like they gave him the rest of last season off as if he had a injury there is no way he would have been back so quick. Going chasing so they obviously must think that is his game.

“He's a machine. He's a hot enough horse and Bobby (McNally) has done a lot of work settling him. He's not an easy ride at home. “He's a gorgeous horse and if he'd been a human he would have been a model! “If we ever have a Gold Cup horse this is it and we'll just take it steady steady with him. This year and next aren't the most important with him. “It'll be six weeks before he runs as he pulled a little muscle and had an easy two weeks. He'll be back in full work on Monday.” Toner D'Oudairies “He'll make a smashing chaser this year. He was runner-up at Cheltenham last year (in the Martin Pipe Conditionals Hurdle) and but for a mistake at the last I think he would nearly have won. “He's filled out and is an exciting horse to go chasing. Money was completely right, there looks another smashing prospect. Keen all the way around.

Another exciting day, Rathlin may not run in this ground. Mr Cracker returning after a year off clearly been aimed for the race. "He's ready to run but he'll improve for it I'd say," said Morris."He's a big, gross horse and it normally takes a run or two to get him right. "It's a nice race to start him off in and the ground should be all right. I'd say he'll go on any ground."
I am backing Rivage Dor in that race. Bonisland and Thunder and roses run in the bumper tomorrow in Roscommon. I be backing Bonisland there |

No wins today, Rivage Dor looked the winner the whole way but fell in a hole, just completely stopped, needs to settle better as he is a great leaper of a fence.
Un Beau Martin and Mr Cracker were very disappointing but something wrong with both I would imagine. |

I would not trust the trainer's he rides for dj. If those trainers do not want the horse to win he wont because he be pulled up he have run so bad.Not much the jockey can do if the horse has 3 legs  |
