Domino, the start of this thread saw you staking win and place, followed by just win bets after poor results with an in running proviso now included. In my opinion, that is a negative move if the thread is all about making profit. You started with a 1k betting bank. To what % of your bank are you using per bet? So far it has been random.
If the 1k was mine my stake would be 5% or 20 x £50 bets. Also 20% of the stake (£10) would be placed on the Win market and the other 80% (£40) on the Place market. No in running lays. With the place bet, odds of 1.28 or higher see you make a profit on the bet if only placed, and is a fail safe approach so long as you can find horses to bet that at least will place. |
