Thursday The 18th Guesses
Some Finish in the 5.00 at Leicester - 11/1 with a few firms Saw a different horse in the visor at Uttoxeter. Looked to have the field well beat on the final circuit, but the constant jumping out to the right just took it's toll, perhaps the trip too. Dropped 8lb by the handicapper, he is taking a big risk with this horse. Right handed tomorrow, drop in trip can't hurt, and the stable really seem to be hitting some form (Under The Phone, and Young Lou spring to mind). Already being backed, the horse could just be useless, but got a lot of things in his favour tomorrow. |
By:
Cheers btw, was just in a rush.
Getting lucky with my guesses, the luck will run out soon enough. Up North was well backed Rob, you trade at all? |
By:
No Ryan, wasnt home at the time, watched it a few hours later. its back legs were all over the place, amazed when I saw it was done at odds on ir.
|
By:
But thanks to you and Kelsey, still a profitable day. TY.
|
By:
No worries.
3 jumps meetings on today, but pretty desperate stuff. Was looking over tomorrow. More small fields, not much good to me. |
By:
me neither, only backed the 2nd and 3rd in in the first at font'@ 7/4ish coupled. The fav seems to have been tried at a variety of trips.
|
By:
What price could you lay the favourite at the time? Almost 1/2.
|
By:
Thought The Fresh Prince was gonna go past at the last.
|
By:
was 1.6 when I bet the other 2, but laid 1.52 just before off, had some 10/11 back ir, and laid 2/1 TFP, but still a small loss. As ytou implied, not a very exciting day.
|
By:
After trading yours today, I've been left with 20 fivers, could have 75/0 but not so much fun if ya cant lose.
|
By:
Saw the betting was all over the place.
Just twiddling my thumbs waiting for 5pm, not a fan of these late races. |
By:
Just realised I was at Uttox' last time it ran, was desperate ground, far worst then todays, will have needed all those 19 days to get over it.

any fancies for saturday lads?
backed deputy dan(should run) ew in the rendlelsham hurdle at haydock, hoping at least 3 come out giving me a extra place. notice there's only 8 declared in the national trial. |
By:
Looks a fair card if not decimated by nr's. Will probably side with fishers in Dans race though.
|
By:
going to be very heavy at haydock redrob, 3 on the going stick and more rain forecast.
|
By:
Not looked at the betting for the Rendle - what price was Deputy Dan?
|
By:
6-1 ryan
|
By:
Just got the betting up, pretty tight from the books.
Didn't see what the percentage was, but they aren't taking any chances. |
By:
I don't think much of the current staying division, so it wouldn't surprise me to see DD go close.
|
By:
yes was hoping for a bit bigger than 6-1, my theory/hope there is a few nr (hopefully not dan)(trainer stated he's going to run)
we shall see. |

Dickie comes good again

Legal Exit in the 2.10 at Sandown - 6/1 in places
Will do a write up in a little bit, juggling dinner. Gonna be something along the lines of, going right handed, drop in trip, and they've been waiting ages for some half decent ground. Stable in really good form, particularly this combo. |
By:
Hope it aint sphagetti Ryan, if you're juggling it !
|
By:
moved the market with legal exit.
|
By:
On fire Ryan ... well done
