I really can't understand what your point is racingstar. There actually aren't any pure poker sites left now, they have all morphed into casino sportsbetting portals. There is much less poker advertising, its peanuts compared to sports/casino. If it was such a magnificent scam, why would they all want the other stuff to take their customer's money.

lol I don't actually, I rarely play - I used to win the lot until vast swathes of Germans and East Europeans, with degrees in game theory and Nash equilibriums coming out of their ears, overwhelmed the horseblunders of the poker world. So I can only win now if I follow the recommendation "if you can't spot the sucker after two circuits of the table, then the sucker must be you" and I cba doing that.

A friend of mine played Poker all over the World with some success before the current craze came about. He plays recreationally now and,never Online. The day will never dawn where I play Puker or a FOBT. Each to his own. Does this help? |

racingstar , i think you are making comments judgements on things that you don't really understand 100% .
if your friend was any good he would win online same as in live . if he has suspicions of people playing in collusion he could play heads up, simple . you say he played "before the current craze" , poker has changed massively in the last 10 years in the way it is played , maybe he didn't change with it , or was not as good as he/you thought . it is no coincidence that the best players in the world are in their 20s and 30s and earn big money online does that help you ? |

How the hell you get flushes quads sets straights and be done to the vast majority of them in TWO HOURS, if you honestly believe online poker is "legit" then your a fool, as for me reading blogs from 2004, ses we've all heard of magic612, he was the one who did the now funny youtube videos from 2008-2011, but the vast majority of what he said was true, its a scam, it plays to the whole cards of the players and makes them play, for the rake they get, the 5% they get from each pot, how the how hell can 3 people on 1 table consistently get AK AA AQ ffs, how many times do you see people playing AA, and some other bloke on the same table playing AA, and some other person playing KK..... with the flop being KJJ for example, forcing the 3 to go big or even all in. I have read his blogs and have watched his videos, but I've found out first hand what a scam it all is. Like I say if you want to bury your head in the sand and lose money to people who don't even know what they're doing, ie "the sucker" who raises every single hand then be my guest. And for love of god make sure you never play heads up, the idiots are out in force big time on those tables, it goes something like this RAISE, RE-RAISE, RAISE, RE-RAISE.... EVERY SINGLE HAND... Raking in the money for the host. |

I have never cared what others make. He did say,"once the kids learned to play the edge was gone forever". The likes of Horsebreath have more chance of winning the Lottery than winning at Online Poker. They have been "sucked in" talking of,the river,the hill and actually believing they have a clue. A true masterclass of marketing,imo. Enough time wasted on this subject for me. Good luck to all that play. |

Go and watch a Victor Blom heads up online, watch him play some total random idiot.
Goes something like this Blom raises big pre flop, other idiot raises over, he calls, blom raises big on the flop, other idiot raises over him, blom calls, turn card blom raises, other idiot raises over him, blom goes all in, the sucker calls it... the sucker is in front with his two pair, get nutted on the river and blom wins the pot And I've watch him hit the river many times for big pots, its set up for these players as well, funny how blom get his pants taken down live, but his everything online............... |
