Dave hasen't read the rest of the thread has he, just jumps on one quote and has a pop, typical t w a t, no doubt your a genius eh?!?!, making plenty of cash on here and making us all look amateurs.

Bring £100 to a heads up table and I'll happily play you Dave

King of Dubai 26 Nov 14 19:40 I'll go out on a limb and say that no poker player that moans about bad luck is profitable.

Wouldn't/couldn't argue with much that you've said Koddy, but your limb is in danger ?, surely some of these moan characters are doing it deceitfully.

This is prob 1 of the ultimate WFM threads ? no wonder the poker forum is the land of tumbleweed.

It winds me up when people like Dave jump on one quote, blowing everything someone's said out of context, I also said you have "play carefully", going all in is a no. but yet again someone takes one quote and makes it out to be a "knows f all" post. but we are all amateurs to some of these people anyway so why worry about what that pro says.

post the hand history horsesh1t - it shuld have the chat in it with the other guy saying "why you keep raising" when you actually just raised once in the entire hand.

I A L you missed a good opurtunity with your stalker, whilst he was trying to belittle you you should of challenged him to a game
Of heads up Holdem, we could have watched and kOD could have critiqued the play. 1.01 he would have bottled it anyway, and that
Would shut him up.

Deepblue

I played Pablo instead, he beat me which I'm not ashamed to admit, but at least I have the balls to play someone and give it a go, I've only been playing 4 months so still have a lot to learn.

Most on here enjoy sounding off but then seem to disappear when an offer of a game comes up, pretty sad imo.

I wouldn't win at the moment

But the only to get better is to keep playing, I thought 3 of a kind beat a flush at first, and thought a straight beat them both lol, it was only when I was losing to flushes and straights with sets that I realised, I'm pretty good at reading the board now, I win my big pots mostly with flushes. Just had a Ace flush and beat a Queen flush lol. a few months back I wouldn't of raised on the ace flush as I'd of thought it was just a cr appy high LaughLaugh. I need to get better at betting big with my good hands, as I do let people in with not raising high enough, which is why I'm sticking to limit holdem at the moment.

Its good fun, not as much fun as horse racing but still fun and something to do when racing's finished

Agree with live poker being better, people are less likely to go in with poor hands.

This the most stupid thing you have said on the subject so far.  If you genuinely sat down at £1/£2, the queue to join the table would break the internet.

Reading books is for amateurs, you need to find your own level, skill and way of playing, something pros cant teach and dickie kind of mentioned it and that the mentle side of the game, when someone raises a good £40 say, and you are sitting there with 2 pair, fold and you lose £30, do you fold and wait for a better hand or call it and hope to hit the river ?, only being in that situation can you make that choice, the stress can be overwhelming if the pot has gone over what you're comfortable with.

Dave - I couldn't care less tbh.

The ghost of DIvvi bird
I read this forum most days and I poped up on the poker thread because I am interested in poker,I didn't realise I needed your permission.
Also I did not adress my post to you.so more bulshat from you then. If I wanted to attack you I would ask you if you have not had a payslip since you were 18 as you stated on a thread who's army was you in as the British army takes tax and insurance and gives a payslip.Troops serving abroad pay UK tax. Yet you have no problem calling Windsor boy a liar at least three times on a bullying thread.double standards  or what.
Reread this thread and you were the one trying to belittle IAL I sugest you you let it go and grow up.

A few times in live games short stacked I've gone all in blind.

Really riles people as they say it's not 3 card brag.

One bloke spent 10 mins insisting I looked at the cards.

I took the pot with two pair and the ones that were in lost the plot.

They were then determined to win the stolen chips back and played loose hands.

You need good hands but it's amazing how easily you can ruffle people up.

My first live tourney i had a bloke hooded up and because it was early in the tourney we didn't have a dealer.

He talked non stop, and i mean non stop. He hooded himself up and attempted to show the table his card shuffling tricks pre deal each hand.

I would be lying if i said he didn't get on my goat, he also stayed in the tourney longer than me. I have no doubt he is doing his conkers somewhere online.

I have stayed away from poker although i am a decent player with experience and knowledge of the game, this has lit my fire for a return however...

KODDY......where are you Excited

I still haven't seen Dave on the poker tables online yet, had the gall to call me "clueless" and now he's disappeared since I offered him a game. Pablo plays online as I played him on the micro stakes.

You've got to be careful of t wa ting raisers online, they'll raise anything some of them and I mean anything, some of them will raise pre flop every single hand and it drives your nuts, was playing someone on 0.50/£1 blinds and he raised the pot by 200% pre-flop every single time, my advice is see how you oppo plays for the first 6 or 7 hands and if its one of those idiots get out of there. some of them are flookiest bastards you will come across, the times I've been leading against them until the river and they've hit is ridiculous, no apology from them either, all you get is "I played it well as I hit it"... some of them don't have a clue how to play imo, and they are the one's to stay clear off online, bad beats only happen against people who play blindly.

And I know someone will turn up and say "their raising every hand to put you off", sorry but anyone who raises every single hand by 200% is a knob head.
