the lower-limit games are generally **** for action on ALL online poker sites.

horseburger, take a break from all poker.  Go and read something like Hold em for advanced players by David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth, roughly three times.  Do not play cash games. If you must, play low level tournaments both at the casino and online.

This might be the best money advice you will ever receive.

Indeed it is KOD

I have a few friends who had some really good scores, then when tney left college ot left a job they tried to go at it full time..it was a huge eye opener to most of them as they found it hard to adjust to making ends meat to just a nice scores...many have tried and alarge % fail. I myself mostly just play 1dollar 2 dollar but i do enjoy attempting to study the game

Tourneys aren't the same as cash games.

Tourney's you need to play a hell of a lot more hands to win, cash games is about grinding the oppo down, not playing too aggressively. tourneys you see a lot more all ins

The worst players are Brits I find. Don't mind Polish players, very defensive, very easy to beat I find, some of them fold premium hands if you raise preflop Laugh

I've got the greatest player to have ever lived's book... Phil Helmuth

AK pre flop raise to £6, oppo calls it, drop KK6 on the flop, no flush draw so I raise £12, oppo re raises to £18 I call, turn is a 2 so I raise another £14 , oppo re raises to £22 I call, river is a 7 so I raise  another £22 oppo re raises to £47 I call.

So in summary someone who has no idea of betting terminology or rules pretends to be playing poker.
By:
dave1357
When: 27 Nov 14 09:33
eg so I raise £12, you raise someone else's bet - no one has bet.  oppo re raises to £18 I call a raise must be at least of the amount of the previous bet, so you bet £12, his minimum raise is to £24
