I heed a warning that Sir Stoute is a habitual trainer. As with Fiorente last week his horses do tend to improve dramatically on all known form, in races he targets such as the King George, perfect example being Harbinger. Whilst Sea Moon has a lot to find on form do not be surprised if he improves 10 plus pound and reverses form with the field. At the prices and for these reasons I will go against my old mate Nathaniel and take Sea Moon to beat him with Sir Nick 3rd.

i dont know why sna is drifting,i dont think the ground is a problem.lto at epsom it beat red cadeaux easily,i taught it was a top class performance and looked to have improved.on a line through red cad hes the beaten of sea moon and dunaden.in last yr kg it gave nathaniel 12lbs for a 5lth defeat in a slowely run race,it will be fast pace sat with aob pace maker present plus nat had a hard race lto .imo sna is the best horse in the race and at its current price at 4.7 on bf i have gone large,my advice to ye is to fill yre boots

hard race...cant be sure about the winner

take your pick boys!

What exactly has Sea Moon beat in his last two races??He beat two slow boats last time out who both contested the Melbourne cup last season,
Before that he beat Dandino,He's been well over rated imo,SNA thrashed him in the breeders cup last season,Cant see him been anywhere near good enough come saturday tbh. |

Well first of all,i'll certainly be laying Sea Moon big style,
i think it's between Sna and Nathaniel,Slight preference for Nathaniel,But only just, Japanese horse will finish in the frame. |
By:
I've left out St Nic because I don't think he stays a true 12f. He has won at Epsom, Churchill Downs and Chester and he ran well at Meydan (a very sharp flat track). He led 3 out in the Arc but faded. He won't be placed. Sea Moon has to improve past St Nic but couldn't beat Masked Marvel also Gosdens. Nathaniels win last year and Dnedrams Arc win are both the best form but So You Think beat Nathaniel in the Champion Stakes here so on form if Danedream, easily beat SYT in the Arc, turns up she wins. Top class fillies do well in this race.

Danedream Believer.

Dunaden will have to improve to beat Sea Moon?......Dont make me laugh ffs,Dunaden would have Won by at least 4L with a half dcent run last time.

bri,if only racing was that easy fella,if Collateral form worked out as easy as your suggesting,We'd all be millionaires.
By:
Very good Felt. She has the best form and is a better price than the others. She is fit, stays and gets an allowance. The race will be truly run so form should work out. I think Nathaniel may have a bit more to offer and Reliable Man will pick of the weakening Sea Moon and St Nic.
By:
brigust,are you messing??St nic doesn't stay??
Wow,That's hard to believe,he'd stay 2 miles imo. and has proven on more than one occasion that he stays the trip. |
By:
No Mag, I disagree, I don't think he does stay. He has run 8 times at 12f and the only times he has run on a stiffish track he has been beaten. Two of which he led then weakened. His winning form Epsom, Churchill and Chester are all sharp tracks. I think he should be running in the Judmonte.
By:
Fair enough,Everyone is entitled to their opinion,i'm pretty certain he stays quite comfortably,i wish you the best of luck.
By:
Absolutely Mag, you look at the facts then form an opinion. Sometimes it's right and sometimes it's wrong. I go by form because I find it more reliable than stable information or betting guides. And I have to consider I went to Newmarket on Guineas day to back St Nic and watch him win. I had been waiting for weeks but when I saw him in the paddock I nearly chickened out. Sadly I didnt but it wasn't that bad a Guineas. I got my money back at the Breeders Cup.
By:
Even though certain sections of the Epsom 12f are downhill, I would've thought it was a much stiffer overall 12f than Ascot, judging by the times.
By:
Yes Fig, but it's not a galloping track like Ascot, plenty of places to get a breather in. I may be wrong but that is what his form tells me, I don't think he will be placed.
By:
Well I certainly hope you're wrong as I've backed him

tere is no doubt in my mind sna stays,i think gust1 yre thinking of its run in the arc, where it was up with the pace, led 3f out and faded in the last 100yrds,but its best form is when held up and thats definitely the plan sat.also it won a g3 at chester over 13f.on my tissue i make it an even money shot and thus as i said earlier i have gone large and might go in again saturday.gl to u anyway

By:
**** this, just get on the japanese horse
By:
I saw Sea Moon up close out early when I was down in Newmarket last week, looked in very good nick to my eye. Not quite sure he's up to this though. Stuck between Danedream and Nathaniel for me.
By:
SNA has absolutely bolted up twice off a slow pace, he's got a proper change of gears, I agree with Brigust win or not this weekend I think his best trip is 10
I would have loved to have seen him take on Frankel in the Juddmonte left handed flat 10 at York would have been absolutely tailor made ![]() |
By:
WHO IS GOING TO WIN
By:
TELL ME THE FUTURE
By:
There's not an awful lot between Nathaniel and SNA imo. There the 2 to concentrate on,
it'll be on the nod, possibly even a dead heat,With the japanese horse following them home. |
By:
Danedream bet of the year

By:
Danedream's win in the ARC was a flash in the pan,Just like Homecoming queens performance in the Guineas,
Will never win a Group 1 outside of Germany again. |
By:
danedream has a good chance tommorow, needs a strong pace, is a very nice horse
By:
good luck if backing her king,i think you'll need it mate.
By:
im not backing her
By:
am not sure to be honest what im backing....dont think ill know until tommorow...
By:
Dutch SNA and Nathaniel,Cant see past them tbh, their the class of the race,
Sea Moon and Dunaden are slow boats whose form is riddled with beaten other slow boats. |
By:
I have to disagree with you Magnum. Danedream had wn 2 Group 1's before her Arc win in easy style and after the Arc she was only beaten a couple of lengths in the Japan Cup on fast ground. She won her prep and wasn't suited by the small field, slow pace next time. She definitely has the best single piece of form and none of them are rock solid. You won't need any luck just that she runs to form, if she does she wins.
SNA won't stay. He would only have been 4th of 5 last year. Nathaniel could be progressive but how good is Fahhr? We don't know yet and though he won last year's King George the 2nd was nearly last in the Arc behind Danedream. As I said if she runs to fom she wins. |
By:
*form ffs.
By:
Cant see how SNA wont stay, you could hardly say that he was ridden to his strengths in the Arc taking it up a long way from home in which was hardly a crawl of a race.
Id agree that her peak form is the best on offer if you can forgive lto, think the prices in general are round about right may play a SNA/Danedream rfc |
