Transonic is a horse i've followed closely and agree it's a very good sthwll horse but not so sure it's well h'capped today in a decent class 3 race, may need to drop a few pounds and a grade for me, best of luck with todays bets robster.

I know we’ve been spoilt during the festive period with some excellent racing, but for a bank holiday Monday, both quality and quantity of today’s racing could have been kinder. I do however think I have spotted a couple of opportunities to take the green stuff from the satchels, and hopefully continue my good start to the year.
I will start with the mare Time To Think, and like plenty in the field have form with the prohibited odds favourite Hunt Ball. It’s possibly a case for many punters of do you think the likely favourite has plenty of improvement left to come after shooting up 34lbs for his recent 3 wins, and if your of the opinion he’s plenty left in the locker only time will tell, but if I was training him and confident he was much better than his mark I’d certainly not be giving the gig to a 7lb claimer just yet, even so at about 6-4 in a handicap he’s worth taking on. I could have took him on with a few in the field but have decided to go with Time To Think, as I believe that she could make up into a much better chaser than anything she has accomplished over hurdles. Lto was her seasonal, as well as her chasing debut, and you would have been forgiven if you had thought she was a seasoned campaigner in that sphere the way she fenced. I’m fairly sure she will have came on hugely for that run, as she did last season when winning a hurdle race on this very day in Heavy ground over Folkestone 18F, where she idled for being in front a fair way out, but once had company pulled out reserves to win Imo going away. She now has a decent pull at the weights with the likely favourite, and even without that pull I’m certain her race fitness and experience gained from her previous run would have brought them closer regardless. Today’s trip should be fine and she gets her ground, Plumpton’s a bit of an unknown but I feel it’s worth taking a chance on her all thing’s considered at over 5 times the price of the jolly. Now onto the opening event at Southwell, where plenty have Lto form with each other after contesting division 1&2 of a similar contest 11 days ago. I just feel that the race Argentine was runner up in, even with his 1lb rise he does look to hold those who appose again today, and the other division where Nafa was runner up was a good ½ second slower and on my reckoning has a little to find with the selection. Argentine has a reasonable record in these low grade affairs at Southwell, and even though his last C/D success was his final appearance on the winners podium back in January 2010, lately he has shaped like his turn could come sooner rather than later, and on his mark of 54 should be up to winning this in his current mood. |

Ha ha, definately subscription free, never paid for a tip in my life, and I certainly would never charge anyone for any of mine. The best things in life are free, or so they say

12.15 south
fear nothing 11/4 from 9,s has to turn the head |
By:
Totally agree, especially with the stable that now have him. They dont often leave the money behind, so could be a significant move for fibre sand debut.

By:
nice one robster.

By:
yes another nice winner,6.6 betfair sp.
wish i was betting them. |
By:
Rob, I have been staring at the 12-15 since 7-30 this morning, I came to same conclusion as you but because of my new 4/1 rule I didn't back it until just before the off when it worked in my favour and I had a few bob on at 5/1. I done a bloody big write up and the final piece to the jigsaw was the jockey Tom Eaves who you would think had the choice of the winner and the well backed Fear Nothing.
Well done, your on fire.. |
