In the 3.25 At Haydock tomorrow, can anyone put me off tucking into Ezdeyaad e/w ??
Jon |
By:
hi johny could not put you of it but very tight little race that, would watch to much.
By:
fancy two tomorrow, not great prices but should win.be back in sec with them just checking some thing.
By:
Ezdeyaad catches the eye for 2 reasons, its back up to a mile where it has won 2 out of its 3 races, and is carrying 13lbs less than last time it run!
Jon |
By:
yep jonny your right but on a colatteral form guide he does have it to do to beatm kidlat at weights
By:
BBJ, what interests you about Pipers Piping?
By:
well my two for tomorrow are:
oriental cavalier 2.50. haydock £6 win speed dating 3.15. southwell £6 win |
By:
Surprised HC'er has dropped Ezdeyaad 3lb just one run after being raised 6lb for winning. The thing that would worry me about the horse is that it's still 3lb above highest winning mark of 79. Although no doubting he loves Haydock over 8F, form reads 51334 respectively. Could definitely be vulnerable to more unexposed horses though. GL, anyway.

By:
Cheers guys, will sleep on it :)
Jon |
By:
Also BBJ, congrats on Prize Fighting, guessing you did it EW? Get better than 20/1? Place lay Royal Wedding by any chance?

mepoor: fair play on the top starting thread(did'nt back any dont follow other peoples selections)but, hollyhead does'nt train many top weight winners [:(]
By:
Won twice on AW off 52 and 58 and I think may well have been pulled since as has been slowely into stride and awkward and the start since and howling and Guillambert do often get together for a punt.I may well be wrong but it is one worth watching in the market
By:
Mmm interesting, will keep an eye on it.
By:
fair enought bluenose, but on purely form line i think this one is a winner, his 5th in a grade four is good form, that was his first time visor just behind rosebay length and quarter, who would win this easy, he then ran in grade 5 and got beat in second, when i was very disapointed as i thought he was good thing at 8/1. the visor seems to have brought him some life and the third in the last race was hawanna 2lb pull for length but i think mine just has edge . the only danger i see is if hughes can get visions of johanna to improve, so im confident on this one.
By:
He could well be on the downward curve but the 2yr old form with osbourne is better than this lot but I would need to see cash for it
By:
well done everyone especially whodares, that was some stat!!!!!!!
By:
Yes Dealer some very good calls today ![]() |

By:
Well I only joined up in August 2009 so a relative newbie but will do my best to help find some winners. and hopefully learn some stuff from you guys and gals.
By:
ah a newbie? didnt realise
keep banging in the winners. good luck |
By:
Yes went to York races found a few winners on the day after a little study and have now tumbled down the rabbit hole.
Learning more and more each day and like to test my own picks against others and hopefully find a few winners along the way. |

just a little insight by me to pass time,
lets look at the flat to start as were in full swing. 2yo -races there hardly any form so why would you want to get in to them till form guides start to form. 3yo-races same applys there just getting in to it ok you will get some better form guides here as they are starting to find there true form and you might just latch onto some nice sorts, all be it when the form guide starts, i have only couple who look good so far, grade races 5 and 6- usually dont hold any form for to long and bit of costly exsperience filtering them. sprints,- all get there turn to win as the races so quick you dont have much distance between the form hence all finish tight, best thing here is to bet ones running consistantly well, if you must lol. older handicaps-hello what the form guide yes lets get in to these see what happens . |
By:
mepoor, thanks very much appreciate any help I can get and I do have a word document were I store all these snippets to refer back to,
I have made quite few friends through the forum and have learned a lot in my short time playing the game, I agree you need to have some history on the horse and how it will run I generally look at the pedigree if no other info and how the trainer does at certain courses, If you can build up a little portfolio then it makes it easier to break down the field and narrow down were the winner is going to come from, I have brain like a goldfish and have to make notes and have bits of paper all over the shop I try to refer too. Hope this can be another learning curve for me. |
By:
Kirty, did you actually only start following horse racing in Aug 2009? Or was you betting before that?
By:
hi kirty , i find that the only thing that makes the form look bad ,
1--the trainer stops them. 2--the horse has a off day. 3-- wrong ground then forget it. 4-- wrong distance then watch out. 5--running in wrong class which is massive. 6-- and likely the killer, it comes up against a improver. |
By:
dealer well done on today's tip. I hope you had a little on the silly stat. The girl did well. I'll rest on my laurels as I have been a bit preoccupied today. Pleased for you ryan getting the 40/1. I had a little of that.
By:
I went on a stag party to York in August for the Ebor is it festival and got hooked on the horses. had a good day and enjoyed the buzz so as all my local pubs had shut down and I could not play darts anymore found a new hobby.

By:
hi their
fancy tilliemint in 2.20had ran a good race for a filly first time out and yard starting to fire out winners, but afraid of hann horse ![]() |
By:
whodares...... cheers, had a bit on, it looked beat jumping two out, bet the pulses started racing on the run in. top bombing mate, well done.
By:
Got to thank you posting it on here whodareswins, definitely wouldn't of looked at it otherwise, all about that 4 from 5 winner stat and 300 mile round trip.. I actually missed the evening racing, and not managed to watch the replay yet as it's buggered up on both RP.com and ATR. So annoying, I really want to see it!
Ah ok Kirty.. more a flat fan than the jumps? |
By:
Dealer, think the best horse won in the Soul Station race? Good ride from Kingscote, but Hypnotized definitely had way too much to do under Spencer. Beachfire ran a promising race from way off the pace too, but doubt he was good enough to win anyway. Was such a big drifter today, was 11/1 on betfair at the off.
By:
mepoor, thanks again and all noted
![]() Just looked at the last 4 A/W meetings at Southwell and makes interesting reading. will take another look in the morning. have rated races 1 3 4 so will just play these tomorrow. |
By:
mepoor I noticed you talk about grade of racing a lot.. but no mention of Official Ratings. True?
By:
ryanwe, yes concentrated on the A/W and US racing during the winter and have now found the UK flat to be my main target during the summer but still involved in the US but try and limit myself to 3 bets a day whilst I rebuild my bank. Spend my spare hours when not committed to anything else looking at previous races and results although the terminology hasn't all sunk in yet.
By:
good luck kirty, with your picks.just a other little tit bit for you, i have a rating system i use which is working well in certain horses, and i find although i do all flat racing including all weather, i find it hard to get any all weather races to get in my book, which makes me think all weather racing is lot harder to analyse,i have two races to follow and the first is amaazing which makes me feel when i get one all wather in my book watch out lol, the other race is new so nothing run out of it yet.
By:
Every race is a learning curve. Its always worth watching replys of the days races at night as thats when you can spot the Non Triers and if your good at those and your able to keep on top and file them then it can be very profitable
By:
Ok, fair play Kirty.. wish you all the best, and luck when you need it.
By:
ryan..... just watched it again, think your right, found more when challenged, the 2nd might be a bit of a thinker.
