She should go find him and ask for a fifty as she did him a favour.Cant believe anyone tried that, even Irish bookies would think twice about that and they will be alot more liely to take a bet than the bigger firms
p.s No im not advertsing Irish bookies as its a long while since I have done a big bet in an Irish bookies.Would love to Travel back to do it again for old times sake |
By:
Was just a strange bet as exchanges was always a bigger price.. and when you're willing to put that much money on you want to be getting the most for your money, just sounds like someone with a lot of money without a clue.
Unlucky mepoor, can't win them all.. as long as you get winners at decent prices you'll be ahead. |

hi guys just had a look at the flat meetings tomorrow, and honestly the best tip i can give, is that not unless anyone has any home advantage about goodwood then it is a bookies paradise. there is one im looking at i might have a pound or two on thats it.

My best mate is a bookie in Ireland.Well he has 2 bookies.I love it when he flys over here as he gets so pissed off at the bookies here.He always says" Those cnuts, they would sell your pi$$ if they thought they could get a penny for it".His so easily wound up its funny. He always always always says that alot of smaller Irish firms will lay your bets so much better and they dont have 5% money to what the Uk ones have.
I must get him over again soon. |
By:

thanks guys,
nice when they work out. sure there will be plenty of losers put up here but its all about opinions and making up your own minds. well done everyone who made a few quid [;)] |

dealer well done, you must be reading tomorrow's paper with that sort of tipping. A silly stat is Cash Back 7.50 Worcester. The trainer jockey combination are 80% at Worcester with 4 winners and a second from 5 runs. It involved two horses. Barney's Mate won running first time for the stable after over 400 days off and had only won a point to point in Ireland previously. The other Tara Two Hills won first time out in a bumper. Cash Back had previously earned a rating of 95 for its previous stable, but tomorrow runs off 81. The horse has not run for the biggest part of 4 years, but the trainer can obviously get one ready, and this seems to be a favoured track as it is the best part of a 300 mile round trip. The jockey is a 7lbs claimer, so that has to be factored in, but at what should be good odds, especially on here the horse looks worth a small investment.

Lol good shout whodareswins.. will be interesting to see if any money for it in the morning. Think you might of been better alerting people after you had got on first though
![]() . Am sure people will be taking a look at it now. |

Well done today all.. :)

whodares..... interesting stat, not big on the jumping game but will stick a few quid on for an interest.
i like a couple in the 3.10 goodwood. OUR BOY BARRINGTON AND SOUL STATION. at the prices i just prefer SOUL STATION. finished 4th in a decent sandown handicap won by verdant. the gelding stayed on well up the hill on his first run of the year. he races off the same mark and at around 6/1 represents the value imo. would have to be fearful of the other one, the run behind contredanse looks even better, after the winner went in again and that race is begining to work out well. might still have a saver on him, though will wait to see how the rest price up but SOUL STATION has to be the bet at those odds. |

By:
ryan if history is anything to go on there is unlikely to be much money for it early, more likely if the money comes it will come at the track.

memories of the old one for tomorrow threads just need the excellent AJW to make an appearance.

evening ryan....

Well that HC Soul Station was in LTO, usually one of the hottest HC's early part of season.. Verdant was disappointing the other day though, not sure if that was just down to a poor ride / stable hit a bit of a rough patch.
Thought originally that Our Boy Barrington may of been harshly raised 8lb, but your right, the 1st absolutely sluiced up again off higher mark, 3rd won too. Can't believe it was 5/1.. only just bothered to look.. oh dear. |
By:
What do you make of 'Beachfire', Dealer?
By:
Just have my reservations about Soul Station's form in that race LTO. Form hasn't worked out like I thought it might, plus the only horses included in the finish were the horses up with the pace, apart from Verdant.. which made him look really impressive.
By:
dealer I'll try to find a silly stat for the flat on Thursday. Should be one by the weekend if not.
By:
will wait and see what price they chalk up tomorrow but wont bet if 7/2 or less, 5/1 would certainly be a different story!!!!!
still fancy SOUL STATION though, verdant was a strange run next time but the 3rd ran well at chester. |
By:
ryan... some of the gosden horses havent run that well lately, handicapper has spun the bottle to give him that mark. who knows what to expect, may run well but not for me.
By:
Yeah I guess his horses aren't winning as much as 2 weeks ago. I'm surprised HC'er only rated the horse 1lb higher than Suited and Booted though. Horse only had 1f to make up 5lengths and it only took 1 crack of the whip. If it was 11/2 then I'd probably play it.. I definitely think he's better than his mark, but obviously quite a few of the horses in this race are.
By:
ryan... hard job trying to handicap something after one run imo
first run on turf, racing the other way a couple of things to ponder but no doubt has the potential to be decent. wouldnt put you off, good luck if you play. |
By:
Can't really write off Hypnotize either. Given way too much to do LTO, didn't settle at all in the beginning, so not sure how he will settle going a 1f further.
By:
whodares.... cheers, good luck with the one tomorrow
By:
be interesting to see how Marsh Warbler runs in that 3.10.He wn his maiden well and then must have some ability as they placed him straight in the coventry. Was not really put into last race and you know the way MJ horses can suddenly improve for a step up in trip and he has both speed and stamina on breeding.Frankie booked aswell but its hard to know what MJ has in mind here.Could easily been lined up for a big handicap
By:
The thing is with Beachfire is that it was a big drifter on the day.. which suggests to me they obviously didn't expect it to win, so just have to assume it's going to strip a lot more for tomorrow. Think the HC'er has been way too leniant with his mark. I'm convincing myself more and more that this is the right horse! Shame no Buick to ride it though.
By:
That was a poor maiden though Ryan and against tomorrows lot you could argue that experience is a negative
By:
Yeah too true BBJ, I hadn't even looked at MW until you mentioned it. Looks bred to get the trip.. could be just as well treated as any of the others. Guess it's a decent price because it isn't as obvious as the other unexposed horses.
By:
i cant really see anything else for wednesday, anything else catch you eye guys?
By:
Kalyspo Kimg might be worth a small place bet I think. That conditions race last time out was a really hot race and has improved so much since the step up.From Giants causeway this trip should not be a problem and has experience and stable form oh his side
By:
billybob..... like the horse, just not a big fan of those type of races. much prefer handicaps.
its maiden win has worked out really well, number of winners coming from it. |
