good start mepoor well done maybe yourself and d.d should get together and select 2 each after the lucky 15 he predicted with 4 winners tonight
4 horses per day between you
£20 stakes
£1 lucky 15
£5 acc
i think you would show a nice tidy profit after 7 days
£140 for the week
at most you would lose £140
well done!!![;)]

one of the most important things is to enjoy it ,bet well in your bank and have fun, dont let the price or the bank sway you chasing just bet what you fancy and stick to it, you will bet lossers alot  but its about getting enough winners to make it pay and play.if there over a certain price you can each way it, well hopfully mine anyway as i think they will all run well before i bet.

unless goldie has plotted stellite up i wouldn't touch it as it usually runs well in its first couple of runs..having said that he said in late march that his horses had been realy held up by the weather..i will need to keep an eye on the betting as i follow this stable.gl

well done kirty , that does look like a draw biase there for sure, and in usa racing the speed and draw are crucial, although i never bet in them. although i had £10 on the kentucky derby winner. but that was me being silly just betting it because the guy who won a quizz or some thing to have 100grand on one and he picked winner so i guessed some one would give him advice what to bet.

Thanks Mepoor but as you know they move the stalls so you need to keep your ear to the ground also the going can change the outcome..  always check the stall positioning..  anyway time for bed..   good luck with your choices tomorrow.

Will look in and wish you well.

hi tam i know what your saying i check every thing out after i have made my initial pick, and if you look last year, it ran on 4may first run finished 6th, then ran on 19 may and won here. so im guessing he thinks it needs run before fit now as it is 10 years old, and he has  given it two runs now, and the race it ran in last time was pretty good, i know he was 8th but damika only finished about 3 and half lenghts in front of him and that horse has since won in a grade 3, also horse that finished right behind him in 9th had won grade 4 before that, this is grade 5 and stellete loks the only grade 4 horse here to me

nice winner drd, yours won well. cost me a few quid, was on the second with the other winner. still a good profit on the day.
like the look of a couple today, although the first one is priced up shorter tha i thought but it does look a dire race.

TIMELESS ELEGANCE 2.40 MUSSLEBURGH

ROSEDALE 4.20 BRIGHTON

both look well handicapped, timeless elegance looks to have a bit more potential for improvement than the field today. rosedale looks really well in.
the two of them are off long breaks, if fit and ready they, should hopefully go well.

good luck today

Today's Selections
Towcester 6.10 Murcar - Travelled really well LTO until 2 hurdles from home on 1st completed start over hurdles in a hot novice hurdle race at Aintree for this time of year.. that form is a lot better than any of the others in the race and as a horse who has won over an extended 2m on the flat, the stamina track of Towcester should suit. was 11/4 early doors, been well supported, looks likely to start favourite.. 9/4 under threat atm.

Punchestowns 5.20 Trimbellina - Progressed as a mare novice hurdler as season progressed, culminating in a decent enough 4th behind Tarla at the Punchestowns festival. Jumped impeccably first time out over fences, but took off a stride too soon at the last fence and took a crashing fall. Race was comfortably won at the time.

Amy's song would of been around 15lengths 3rd if Trimbellina had stayed up, but only lost a head off a mark of 96 next time out. Although the bare form of this doesn't look too enticing, you have to remember the HC is a lot more compressed in Ireland, and Trimbellina couldn't do any more than jump and win.

The main rivals include higher rated novice hurdlers Arabella Boy (AB) and Loosen My load (LML), who both boast better form over hurdles and make their debuts over fences.
- AB is a winning pointer, and is probably to improve for going over fences.
- LML also made a decent shape over his hurdles, and looks to have the scope to go places over fences too. Stepping up in trip for first time, it shouldn't be out of his range.. but you never know

It's a tricky contest, and the rivals may go on to better things over fences later on in the year, BUT if Trimbellina is over her fall, the main protagonist will do well to jump as well as she did last time. I expect her to blast off from the front again and test any jumping frailties in the pair.

Hopefully we can get on at over 11/2.. GL all.

Great Selections mate.I think they have a good chance to win.
However from my years of experience in horse racing on here I would say "LAYING Horses" is the way forward.

Now you do need to be abit carefull in picking selections to lay,and believe me there is alot of variance involved at times.

But the truth is its very difficult to pick a horse to win a race. There is so much to go wrong.Jockey errors, stable form, track etc etc.

At least when you lay a horse to Lose you have all the other runners running for you in the race.

Goodluck with your fun staking anyway

For jockey errors read j p spencer!!

Wonder when the thread invaders will pick up on this and the bo lloxs will start, hope this stays a corbiwood free zone.

The problem with the Irish betting is that the bookies are SO stingy.. betting to 165% over round in the Trimbellina race. 200% in the 2nd race! Unbelievable. You compare this to Towcester.. 107%, 113%, 111%, 107%, 122%, 111% respectively. Not sure how they can get away with it.
By:
RyanWe
When: 18 May 10 12:17
Sorry, 200% in the 3rd. 2nd race is only race the best book (112%) is actually reasonable. Moan over and out!
