Surprised we've not seen Vale Of York in Dubai

Top 3 rated Firebreak offspring, all out of Mind Games mares.

Aiming him at the Kentucky Derby ?
By:
Possibly, although not guaranteed to go on dirt do you think?
By:
Push,on th BB forum the FB thread Mrs.Slick'n'Smooth has said she has backed HOF,thats where the moneys come from i guess.
By:
Well at least HOF is being aimed at the race , which is more than can be said for some of the fancied runners :)
By:
Ben , God will aim him at the race anyway.
By:
Yeah true, was just writing him off mentally for the race :)
By:
just 72 days to the 2,000gns. I wonder who will be right on this thread???
By:
Cape Blanco,,, remember me when he romps home.
By:
I have a feeling the winner will be sired by the Stormbird sire line hhmm , in that case it must be Steinbeck !
By:
Hope he runs
By:
I suppose some people live in hope, and some obv'dont want to accept what should be obv',I think the guines will be won by a horse that has already won a GR1 over a mile, not a horse that to date has only won a tiddly maiden spent the year on the easy list then failed to win a poor Dewhurst, but then again some think form like that proves he really is top class.(But utter fools they are)
By:
I am counting the days ( until Workforce wins the Guineas ) :)
By:
I was talking about Cape Blanco. Steinbeck has more chance of running in the Guineas than SNA imo. Not sure the record of Group 1 milers in the Guineas is that great either.
By:
2 year old milers obviously lol
By:
Push, how long can you keep going for!'cause you will be going for ever!
By:
Until the Derby imo :D
By:
I like Workforces pedigree.
By:
Ben,Cape Blanco yes does look like he may get a derby place if he improves,Push, since when did you last see a pedigree win a race?
By:
Workforce probably could have a decent chance in this more I look at it. Might have to watch his race again.
By:
PD, Ghanaati !
By:
Ben, have you got Kirks rose tinted glasses on?
By:
Cape Blanco for middle distances ? His pedigree on the dam side looks to have lots of stamina influences in places , yet his was a half sister to Paris House 5f speedster.
By:
What do you mean? Only one person here who can't see beyond one horse ;)
By:
Push,I did explain to you about form with fillys,Workforce winning the GNS only if half the feild are scratched, please talk some sense!
By:
Have you checked the profiles of Stoute's Guineas horses, Golan's a good starting point.
By:
OK , SNA to win the Guineas. There you go PD. :)
By:
Agree about Cape Blanco I thought he might be like Rip where a strong run mile might see him at his best.
By:
Cape Blanco , i like the horse he is just a funny one for me to work out from a pedigree point of view.
By:
BEn,read again what ive said then you may see the other colt who has more chance than those dregs you all put up!
By:
Hearts OF Fire?
By:
Yes i think he is easy to forget but he does have a chance, imo more than Steinbeck.
By:
:) ;) :P
By:
I just can't see him going on, improvement has to stop somewhere also like Push says soft ground may be best for him. Like Vale Of York showed his penchant for a quick surface when winning the BC Juvenile and perhaps the line is a little false due to the marked difference in ground conditions.
By:
That if a fair point but remember that his sire kept on improving all the time and he may do the same.
By:
ben 10, when you get the chance check out Workforce, and let me know your opinion of him please. If you have a 36five account you can watch his Goodwood victory for free, but dont use his name put the date in he raced.
By:
Cheers Push, I already use that Bet365 video archive loads, very useful.

Just watched it, forgot how impressive it was. Lookswise he looks a nice horse and when the penny dropped the natural talent really shone through. Just going back through formlines and Oasis Dancer won that Timeform million and the third is rated 80 now, he's beaten them out of sight. Trip may be too short for him, Steve Mellish is really negative about him as a Guineas horse but I feel his problem was more greeness, going to have to give him more consideration in next week or so with a proper look through his pedigree etc.
By:
I think they will go for one of the trials with him, so we will know more then, the Craven would be a good place to start, although horses going straight to the Guineas have a better record than those that take in a trial these days.
