You only had to look at the form to know that if an experienced amateur had been riding, it would have been about 2/5 favourite. vomit wrenching from this serial offender sageform was almost as bad as listening to seathestars no1 telling us it was his biggest bet of the year...he at least put it up before the race but to say it was your biggest bet of the year and wanting everyone else to stroke him off in a race that contained mostly riders who hadn't ridden a winner says an awful lot you have to tip your hat to these 2 |

Sagform really is a masterpiece. An aftertimer of the first order.

All joking aside, it's no easy task delivering quality aftertimes at will, what sets the classier after-timers apart is that added flourish with which they manage to sign it off with

I personally think there is no better jockey than Davy at the Festival.his profitability of +£66.50 bear that out since 2012... Not one, not even two, but three aftertimes in one short post - 9/4, 12/1 and 14/1, no less. An added flourish with an 8/1 second thrown in for good measure. |

This in reply to the question: Dortmund price in running? According to Debrett's Guide to Etiquette and Modern Manners, the correct response would be a simple statement of fact. It is bad form to slip in a crafty aftertime. |

Had a good bet on Koshari at 3s so am delighted but thought Cooper handed him the race before the 3rd last by moving out and letting the winner cone between them. Winner is obviously a good horse and would probably have won anyway. I like Cooper but thought that was poor race riding. Utter filth. |

Many times this year, he has given horses too much to do, got them in bad positions and been out ridden in a finish...........it must have been a bad year he won champion jockey The classic 'I had the winner' intro..... Golden Horn - John Gosden
Half brother to Eastern Belle who was a decent filly for Gosden last season, he only won by a neck first time out but he missed the kick and gave a start to Storm The Stars who looks decent himself and had the benefit of a run in a good maiden at Newmarket no less. He made up a fair bit of ground very easily and looked to be getting well on top but the runner up was game. He has been given a rating of 90 and I think thats a nice mark to start him out in a decent 3yo handicap. Mar 28, 2015 you quoted me on a post 3 months after this, fail to see how its an aftertime |

By:
Taghrooda - John Gosden
Another by Sea The Stars, Hamdan filly who was seemingly unfancied at 20/1 on debut in a Newmarket maiden. She travelled like a dream and kept finding all the way to the line to beat a solid yardstick in Casual Smile who had the benefit of two strong runs under her belt. This filly is bred to stay all day and to show that sort of speed and class was very impressive. She should be starting out in an Oaks Trial and ill be surprised if she is not a major player come the big day. Mar 20, 2014 |

So Mi Dar - John Gosden
Maybe the star of the show, weak in the betting for a Windsor maiden, she had a nice position in 3rd through the race but was a bit keen, initially outpaced by the favourite 2 out she took a while to hit top stride and stayed on strongly to get up on the line under a considerate enough ride. The 2nd had the benefit of 2 runs under her belt, the latter of those a good 2nd to Thetis at Newmarket who went on to run 2nd in the Rockfel. The dam Dar Re Mi needs no introduction, a multiple Group 1 winning daughter of Darara, a half sister to Rewilding, So Mi Dar is the second foal and the first was Group 3 placed. She must have been expected to need the run first time so she done well to win and looks to be crying out for a trip, major player for the Oaks and worth a bet at 33/1. Mar 25, 2016 ![]() |

been busy so just logged on in time to watch the 4.45 at Chelmsford, don't normally do it but backed lord of the storm in the photo, went in straight away at 1.43 then it drifted to 1.6 plus, looked the clear winner to me, was a little worried with the drift, wish I had gone in again now must be a strange angle looked clear in real time, very very close in the photo though ![]() Great story bro but I can't help thinking that.......
