Even in a thread mourning the demise of one of our sports notable achievers, oldgit still manages to battle through the tears to deliver an impeccable aftertime. RIP Rajdhani.
Oldgit1 • October 25, 2015 7:56 PM GMT Sad, he was a great old warrior and did me a massive favour at the National meeting. |

Sad 1986 was the year i started gambling on horses, and i backed Dancing brave every race it ran. After winning on Dawn Run gold cup and West Tip grand national, Eddery's exploits on Brave made me think i was gifted from god to Gamble. Here i still am 30 years later. Plain RIP Pat. |

Betbright closed account after one bet
greggreg 08 Nov 15 13:04 Joined: 15 Mar 04 | Topic/replies: 2 | Blogger: greggreg's blog opened an account with bet bright at 12pm today. Had £300 on Jers Girl @7/2 in 12.20. Tried to bet on next and couldnt. Customer services advised me that the traders had closed my account to sports bets. After one bet? Most ridiculous thing I have ever come across, has anyone else come across something like this? Hope I get my withdrawal from them. -------- Two posts in 11 years and one of them was this thinly disguised aftertime. |

Fair play to him, zipper shows the young 'uns how it's done.....

That last one is a particularly good effort, especially as the 'info' could have been shared in the first post when presumably the race was in progress....

Like the wonderful Dame Edna , zipper is too good to be true. I think it must be Mr Hunt that pulls his strings.

Of course it's fishy. How did that not go out more than 3/1 with a start like that? Michael Appleby even travled from Southwell to Chelmsford to watch this horse win. I was on it. Everyone should have been on it. Aftertiming from the grave - has this happened before? ![]() |

a thread about the unlucky loser amore alato but you can always rely on sageform
sageform 18 Dec 15 14:45 Joined: 15 Jun 01 | Topic/replies: 6,576 | Blogger: sageform's blog Very bad luck When I looked at the race yesterday, I thought that Le Mercuey was about right at 9/4 with the fist and third favs a bit short and the other 3 much too big. Out Sam shortened as I thought it would but the fav. got shorter and Amore Alato was almost friendless. Luckily I was on the winner and Out Sam so made a small profit. normal filth from him |

This is an utterly astonishing aftertime. In the top few I've ever seen. Splinterboy resurrects a thread from FIVE years ago about a horse not seen for almost as long to inform the Cheltenham 2016 forum that he was not only large on Peddlers Cross for the Neptune, but also had a 'stupid amount' on the rfc for the following years Champion with Hurricane Fly!
splinterboy82 Miss this horse - made loads of money on him in Neptune & ew at big prices for that brilliant CH when he was finally broken by the legend that was The Fly - had a stupid amount on the RFC that day & remember not wanting to touch the king or Hobbs horses with stolen as couldn't have any other than these 2! ![]() ![]() |

I left his 2/1 Fav in teh 6.10 and sided with this one. bugger went out to 80/1 late afternoon - musn't grumble though. Indeed we must not. Pr!ck. |

Agreed. All truly great after-times have at least one additional detail thrown in to gild the lily, in this case the drift to 80/1. |

Got a feeling this plot and Modus might be a disguise. I will be keeping a close eye on other Mullins JP and RR owned runners in the market! Just seems to obvious to me, why let the cover be blown before the day of the race? Ok, JP did it with MTOY and GMOOH, both of which i was on at top prices i hasten to add and Nichol's successful with Zarkander was a bit of a gamble but am not sure. What a piece of filth. |

Eternal you're a ballax,ye got there b4 me,this SIR business must come from the same ejits that christened that other ejit from ATR,not aftertiming but had 40/1 winner £10er ew in 3m graded hurdle sp 14/1 trained by FAHY I think and GODS OWN £20ew @ 25/1 and then 20/22 @50 and 20/22 @ 5.5/6 2pl both these with BF at PUNCHESTOWN GODS OWN that is the 1st with BV the reason behind these bets were never travelled to the festivals those year's and thought as others have done that horses can be over the top come PUNCHESTOWN so there may be credence in the argument about the SIR'S end of season form, and if I have to can cut'n'paste the god's own thing only not tonight dying with the cold and enjoying the hot BUSHMILLSExcitedHappy
You can't say not aftertiming and then aftertime can you? Yes, yes you can. Filth. |

That's the chance you take however the pric should reflect the chance taken last year IRish Cavalier entered in 2 handicaps luckily I picked right one .....my reward wasn't that great on reflection 8pts more it won but was it worth the risk probably no but yeas only because I called it right ..... That's what betting is all about playing at the correct price I am sitting with buttons on Smashing 150/1 for RyanAir & few coins at 75/80s not for a fortune of a return but that is what I call antepost value at its best people moaning about doing there nuts on faugheen but what a great time to tell us about how good he can be what a legend!! filth |
