I cannot understand how an individual has/take the time to "police" whether others backed the winner prior to the race or not. Does it really matter? As the saying goes, he who lies is only lying to himself and no one else - the person gains nothing!
The "monitor" should/ought to just grow up, get a life and/or do something more constructive and satisfying eg make a cup of tea/coffee. Maybe, each to his own, I guess. |

Ruby, Richard Johnson and Paddy Brennan are all at the veteran stage but all are riding really well at the moment. Anyone who backed Cue Card last Boxing Day, Theatre Guide at Cheltenham and No Duffer as I did will be giving thanks for Brennan in a finish. At the other end of the spectrum, young jockeys are castigated for the occasional poor ride but they have the chance to improve with experience. just talking about ruby walsh's age, however no better time to have a good filthy aftertime |

Two pieces of filth on the same thread......
GEESUSS WD mate, it only takes 1 of these to come once in a while in for profit, Sly enhanced it today to 20/1, and I obliged, great stuff.... If Dolphins Were Monkeys Nice one GEESUSS. Plenty of value in these markets if you're selective. Really liked Eriksen 16's & Payet 18's so went in again. Slybet have been pushing out Payet for the last 3 or 4 games, maybe they're using it as a loss leader. Yesterdays 20's was very generous especially against the Keystone Klopps defence. |

asparagus So many great memories of Walter. My personal favourites were Ajdal winning the July Cup not long after running in the Derby. A remarkable drop in trip to go out and win a group 1. Also Ezzoud winning his first International at York as i was on at 40/1. |

Those days of Dort being a force seem well gone The days of you being a scumbag aftertimer are still very much with us though. |

Since I can't reply to either of the other Superbowl topics .... I had a brief glimpse at the BBC coverage and was horrified at some of the presenters & guests. I quickly switched back to Sky. I watched up until the first score last night, recorded the rest and watched it back this morning. That was the most unbelievable comeback I have ever witnessed. So totally one sided and then switching totally around. I had a chunk on the Patriots, had totally written it off & watched in complete disbelief as they pulled it out of the fire. I think it's a good sport to watch. Up until the last few games they have the red zone program on, which shows all the scoring chances & action continually switching from game to game at the same time and on a separate channel to the live game. The QB's are extraordinary and mostly throw the ball with unbelievable accuracy and under pressure. The running backs are exceptional athletes, the wide receivers often make incredible catches. The game has a great statistical base, with dozens of website providing masses of stats. This increases the attractiveness of the sport for many as a betting sport. The betting value available on the handicaps is as good as in any sport. They offer 10/11 each of two with a push for a draw, where you get your money back on a push. e.g You bet a team with a -3 handicap, they win by 3 and you get your stake returned. blah blah blah superbowl...massive aftertime...blah blah blah superbowl |

Another big drifter wins so of course I took 4 initially but had some more at 6. She went out 8 after 2 hurdles by which time nothing had happened to affect the chances of any of them! The in running market baffles me more every day. Flat winner against bumpers on a tight track, stable in form so of course it drifted. world class |

They know they're mug bets. Hard enough to pick one winner at cheltenham let alone several. Having said all that my biggest win at the festival was when I had Our Conor and Bobs Worth in a double a few years back Wink Rate reply: | report block user charlieptl charlieptl 04 Mar 17 11:49 Joined: 07 May 11 | Topic/replies: 115 | Blogger: charlieptl's blog Obviously it depends lewisham ranger. Backing 2-4 horses on the nose in handicaps at cheltenham is like throwing money at bookies and about as mug like as it gets. However, doubles and trebles aimed to place or lump doubles on strong favourites are where I have made the most money at cheltenham. I remember last year where a Vautour / Thistlecrack double was near on 5/1. Loaded and lumped and rolled around in gravy!!! these posted on a cheltenham acca thread you just can't beat Reminiscing and these 2 followed each other in |

"why the huge page spread pullout"
I do not know what you mean. I think someone went on social media or emailed ATR Cheltenham preview night about the well-being of Douvan but Gary O'Brien (ATR Irish expert) and Jamie Lynch both had no knowledge of that. I also believe someone from Closutton denied the rumour too on Chapman's phone-in programme the previous evening. |
|
By:
did u buy the sun?
Ladbrokes pull out a full page off Matt douvan |
|
By:
tbf to Chapman he was reporting his opinion on Douvan in the Sun (which wasn't different to most other peoples).
Then he said afterwards "other people had said he wasn't right" which is very different to saying "I knew he wasn't right". |
|
By:
Chapman began all this by saying " not everyone will be surprised by this, there were people from the Mullins yard saying that Douvan was not working like his usual self"
Should he have mentioned this in his column? only if he believed it. I can't see what he has done wrong here. You are a harsh bunch.> |
