Did anyone did something to betfair ? I swear that i am trying to send an e-mail with the issues today . Went through all my 3 browsers . Wanted to edit my e-mail and then the betfair site came back alive and all websites now are able to surf . Very sure only betfair cant be surfed on my side only when this happens while other sites are ok . So not too sure what happens .

Today (for the 1st time in a month) the markets are all loading instantly (classic site), and navigating the site is perfectly OK.
Whatever you have done Betfair, please dont undo it LOL |

I have had no problems at all with the classic site.
Once however I had this problem with betfair, but every other website was fine. It turns out that a router was faulty between the ISP and betfair. Use pingplotter and you can see this. It never got fixed and I moved my pc from that location. Changing ISP or browser didn't work. |

I contacted Betfair and they said don't have betfair saved as a favourite as it can cause errors to occur. I have typed the address into the bar manually and the site is working better again.

Timed it just, took 25 secs to load the match odds on footie. Will try the above post idea.

I'm still having the same problem. Been just as bad as ever this afternoon, but will see what happens when I don't select Betfair from my favourites...

This issue has all but disappeared over the last few weeks but it came back with a vengeance yesterday. Today too it's an irritating problem. Anyone else notice this?

I get the same problem - either the 'Loading, please wait' staying there, or if I click a new market on the left hand menu, the market doesn't actually change. Using Chrome but happens in Firefox too. Just seems to happen now and again, it's not easily repeatable. The annoying thing is that it isn't a delay or a slow page as such, but that the page gets stuck and you need to reload to make it work again.
There's a similar problem when clicking on the 'My Bets' tab. Sometimes, the tab just stays stuck on 'Retrieving your bets'. Flipping back and forth between Rules/My Bets can unstick it. |

I'll have another go at letting Betfair know there's an issue again, but they'll probably just tell me it's an issue at our end again. We all have identical problems so I can't believe that.

If you delete cookies and empty the cache, close your browser and then open the website by typing the address in the url and not through a favourite in the bookmark it may solve the problem. It has done for me - touch wood.

That's what the helpdesk told me. Was working alright for a bit and then went back to freezing when changing pages.

have had the same problem have resorted to using beta which has its own bugs (takes about a minute for the profit and loss and bets to update once bet is matched for me) but at least not freezing

i've not been able to load any markets for over a week now and before that struggled, i've cleared the cache, ran scans, de fragged, opened new browsers, tried chrome.
Seems like befair don't care if there not going to do anything about the problem and i'm not switching to beta. I've reduced my betting considerably over the last 12 months so i'm just going to let any markets i'm involved in now just run their course and not get involved in any others, for me now seems a good time to call it a day with betfair, if i want a wager in future i'll just logon to either billies or laddies as it's so much easier |

this place is just a joke now, it's so user unfriendly and betfair don't seem bothered, i've not been able to load markets for three weeks now in classic view and i am not using that beta sh!t as it takes an age to trawl around markets, thank **** i'm only involved in one market now.....in play betting must be a right ball ache

actually this new beta platform reminds me of the old bettson.com betting exchange which eventually died a death!

I've had a response to this issue from somebody in a senior position at Betfair.
They do acknowledge the problem despite the Helpdesk blaming it on us. It is a consequence of them running two sites (Beta and Classic). And During October they will be "releasing a number of significant changes to the betslip and user journeys that will see a considerable improvement to the website performance." |

It looks like a lot of customers have these -loading- problems.
I dont know if it has anything to do with betfair and the memory this site is using but in the last month I had TWO hard disc failures in my pcs (both mac book pro). Anyone experience similar problems? I hope it was just a coincidence. |

Last 2 weeks have been appalling for hanging markets and general slowness.
I pay £20000+ a year in commission for this **** service, but hopefully not for too much longer. With BF this bad and expensive its got to be only a matter of time before another company step up. |

have had this problem for months, thought it was my computer all this time. only saw this thread today and the loading problem has indeed been worse than ever this week.
Templeton, thanks for sending Betfair emails about this. Interesting that they are acknowledging that it's them running two sites that are causing this. Hope whatever it is that they are planning on doing in october will be an improvement and put an end on this. Luckily, I haven't lost any serious money because of this yet, but it could easily happen as a 40 second freeze at the wrong time could be very expensive. |
