I’d want Klopp.
Would consider Carsley. Left field but familiar with how to win Tournament football and will have identified the youngers ready to strengthen the seniors. You have to remember FA have different priorities to just winning. Southgate has done well in most other aspects. |

Klopp must be a million, why would a successful club manager choose any national job, you can throw in that Klopp looks very much like an adrenalin junkie who would be bored sh1tless for 23 out of every 24 months.

with tournaments expanding and ENG getting pick of english EPL players,qualifying isnt an issue anymore and if its all about winning the 7 game tourney and not the perforemances within it you might as well roll the dice with a more attacking style like fat frank instead of like with sougate waitingt for the best side youve faced knocking you out

The first thing the FA would need to consider is who could possibly manage the Bellingham ego.

I know that Bellingham would very likely turn his nose up at the former Derby Coventry Birmingham etc etc player if things were going wrong.
Bellingham is already doing it with his clubs and England why would that change going forward? |

I know how big Bellingham's ego is as we all do and I would imagine that any manager coming in who Bellingham doesn't fully respect might find him difficult to handle.

If he played as badly as he did he might find himself out of the team! He was really poor by his own standards. He might be injured. He like many was very disappointing. I think he is a fabulous player. |

To be fair his ability wasn't in question it's his attitude, arrogance and ego, which we all know in controlled measures are good things but can very easily tip over into negativity particularly if you begin to alienate your fellow team mates.
There are any number of people from within the game that are questioning just this. |

Thank God he's gone. The most turgid, rancid, boring crap I have ever seen. It was appalling to watch and the Manager has to take the blame. He couldn't win a one ticket raffle. Bellingham seems to have no problems with Ancelotti and that is why you need a manager who commands the upmost respect through achievement. Good luck if Carsley is chosen, you will certainly need it.

How about as a rank outsider, Dean Smith as English as they come, signed both Watkins and Konsa twice, signer Mings from Bournemouth reserves and made him into an England International. Got the best out of Jack Grealish and had the foresight to buy Arsenals 2nd/3rd choice goalkeeper Emi Martinez, wouldn't put up with Bellinghams ego either.

Poch would be my choice as a suitable guy that would tick lots of boxes, isn't English but has been pretty much nationalized by being a prem fixture for a long time, has history managing big name players and has just come out of an almighty sh1t show with lots of credit. Has bundles of charisma and would handle the media very well.

Of the foreign coaches I think Klopp will choose Germany over England; Guardiola is tied to Saudi oil-money. The two other foreign coaches on my list are Tuchel or Poch, and both have experiences of English football and players.
I think a local coach at the moment is too risky for the FA to rely on to bring immediate success with our talented young players. Another 4/6 years this crop of players might not be around. |

Klopp would be amazing.
Might want at least a year off as he has suggested. Though i would say Give us a start date you fancy and let us know how much you want and its a deal. Also International management may suit him as its less time investment than managing a large European domestic team. So could live between England and Germany. He may prefer to take time off and wait for the German job which would be understandable as well. |

I think they will go for somebody that has won at international level and that means foreign, they have plenty cash for contract. Not saying it will work out but you have to try and get in head of people selecting manager in these markets.

A caretaker manager then if waiting for Klopp or Guardiola a necessity. But, please no Jose. He's past it; the game's moved on. Maybe Ms Wiegman could combine the two jobs.
The potential and talent of this present crop of players need to be harnessed and maximised to the full. I believe Mr Southgate lost England one major trophy. Has anyone noticed no commiseration from football pundits? I've not come across any yet. |

Personally I think its kind of amazing that we still havent had a New England manager since Belichick left at the start of the year.
