Really open game tonight. Could have been behind then Ojo had a chance to make it 2-0 immediately after Morelos scored.
(Fantastic goal btw.) Then denied a stonewaller penalty. Morelos unlucky later on with the defender taking the sting out of his shot.
Not a lot to say about their 2 goals other than I think Tav might find himself rested this weekend with Flanagan taking his place.

Ojo will certainly be "rested"

Ojo needs to be more of a team player plus hes far to casual at times.
Certainly got skill but I think we'll see a lot less of him when Kent is fit.

Bit of a turnaround today.
Great 5-0 victory sees us go top by 2 points and with a better goal difference of 6.
Been a while since we had the best 2 strikers in Scottish football.
Mind the gap bhoys and ghirls. Grin

Cash been flowing in since the start of the season Dan.
About £10m so far from the Europa League campaign alone.

£10m from 5 home games, where do you get your p1sh from Aka, your commode? Do you understand the meaning of Gross and Net, you have money coming in and going out. Sevco have just converted another £7m worth of DEBT into shares, again diluting investors holdings, the 7m was accrued, in a matter of months, during your Summer spending spree, and remember this is on top of the 14m worth of DEBT that was converted into shares only back in June. Your club is bloated with players and your wage bill dangerously out of control and you still have 3 multi million pound loans outstanding with the Close Bros, but hey, look at the League table, everything must be coushtie eh?

Investopedia on Debt/Equity Swap Implications:

'While in theory a company could issue stock to avoid debt payments, if the company is in financial trouble, the move would likely hurt the share price even more. Not only does the swap dilute shareholders, but it shows how cash-strapped the company is'

We won 1-0 in the cup recently but they put us under immense pressure and were unlucky not to get a draw.

Aribo danced through the Brazilian defence to score the opener for Nigeria in todays 1-1 draw.
That's 2 in 2 from the Rangers midfielder. Getting decent reviews from the pundits.

Ross Wilson leaves Southampton to become Ibrox sporting director

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50041692

"This job, at this stage in my career, was one I felt I had to take," he said.
"I am both excited and determined to ensure that in working together with the board, Steven [Gerrard, Rangers manager] and all of our staff we can continue to build an excellent, modern football infrastructure and a winning Rangers."

Ibrox managing director Stewart Robertson says Wilson has a "terrific track record".
"He shares our view of what is required to restore Rangers as the dominant force in Scottish football," Robertson, whose side top the Scottish Premiership by two points, added.
"Ross also shares our vision, and that of our manager Steven Gerrard, of where we want to position this club in the years ahead."

Welcome aboard, Ross Cool

Rangers defender Nikola Katic aims to "help the club achieve something special" after signing a one-year contract extension until 2023.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50090542
Katic has made 41 appearances, scoring twice, since arriving on a four-year deal from Slaven Belupo in June 2018.
The 23-year-old Croatia international is keen to develop further at the Scottish Premiership leaders.
"It is a really good club for a young player, with this manager and a lot of good players," Katic said.

Rangers 'covered up' reasons for abuse claim coach's departure
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-50087600
New evidence has emerged suggesting Rangers FC covered up the reasons why a former youth coach accused of child sex offences left the club.
Rangers have consistently said they sacked Gordon Neely in 1991 after a complaint from worried parents and then reported him to the police.
But the new evidence shows that is not what the club said publicly at the time - and Neely's alleged victim insists a police report was never made.
Rangers denied a cover-up.

Rangers 'deserve' to be top of Premiership, says manager of month Steven Gerrard
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50094526
Steven Gerrard says his Rangers side "deserve" to be at the top of the table as he was named Scottish Premiership manager of the month.
Striker Alfredo Morelos has also been named top-flight player of the month after scoring three times in September.
A 5-0 win over Hamilton Academical in Rangers first league game of October took them two points clear of Celtic.

I see Morelos is getting abuse for his Colombian performances form his homeland press, the little oddity played about 140 mins in both games and failed to find the net once, as did the whole team, and was labelled 'A failed experiment' Laugh

"Colombia hadn't gone two games in an international break without a goal for over 10 years, and Diario Gol was not impressed."

"He doesn't make his presence felt in the opposition box like Falcao or (Duvan) Zapata, and when he's had chances he hasn't been able to take them in the way that's expected."

"The Colombian edition of AS noted that Morelos had a chance after three minutes which he couldn't take. But "he had little involvement in the second half and was replaced by Ibargüen after 70 minutes"

"In their ratings El Colombiano gave Morelos two stars out of five, writing: "he had a couple of opportunities which could have changed the match, but his aim was off"

"Despite his excellent goalscoring record for Rangers, Morelos is yet to score for Colombia at Under-17, Under-20 or senior level"

I also see no reporting on this thread of Sevco Chairman Dave King being handed a so-called 'City Asbo' for breaking takeover rules when he swooped on the Scottish football club in 2015.The Takeover Panel found that he had committed an offence of “utmost gravity” by working with a group called the Three Bears to seize control of the top flight team. He will be “cold-shouldered” for four years - a rarely used sanction that blackballs him from the financial community. A grubby little chairman for a grubby little club.
