Backlog of fixtures gave us little chance against Zenit St P.

Indeed aka but we should have been up for that one imo.

As for Frankfurt after going one up we should have played seven, two, one. Better to win ugly than no bragging rights imo.

Remember Dave Smith aka? I think he played in our only victory. Great left foot. In our first final we got rid of our two main strikers (After Berwick Rangers) and we played with Roger Hynd up front and he scored a perfectly good goal only to be ruled offside. Such was his disgust he threw his runners up medal into the crowd.

Smith played up front that day with Hynd and Alex Smith.
He also played in the next final that we won.
Jim Forrest and George McLean were made the scapegoats
for the Berwick game and never played for us again.
Shot ourselves in the foot dropping them.

Fashion Sakala takes on two Lesotho players and shots right inside the penalty box to score an equalizing goal for Zambia.

Improved greatly since he first signed up. Been in tremendous form recently.

The game meant nothing to Rangers but everything to Aberdeen
in their quest for third place.

Sakala should have opened the scoring when one on one with the
keeper and Barisic and Morelos also came close in the first half
which we dominated.
Aberdeen were a different team in the second half and took the
lead early on thanks to a spectacular fluke and sealed it with
a header from a free kick which gave McGregor no chance.
We huffed and puffed whilst Aberdeen could have increased their lead.

Like I said no big deal.

on the back of disappointing season, Do Rangers fans see the appointment of Beale as a positive move and one that can challenge Celtics dominance  next season?

Being the biggest club in Britain it beggar's belief that the board appointed this pure and utter poultice. They need to have a long hard look in the mirror and perhaps fck off themselves. How can such a huge club be in this position? Simple. The pure poultice bought quantity over quality.

I'm drafting a letter and letting them know their errors. Christ, Mickey Mouse could have done a better job. Davis is not the answer but he'll do meantime. If only we could get Souness or even Gerrard back that would do for me. Proper football men.

Souness was apparently at the game on Saturday, He is a Rangers man, however, he won't work for a sub-standard salary as he stated previously. Could be time to approach the whinging fcuk again.

I would like to say I hope I'm wrong but I'm not.I will look in now and then for a laugh but chasing Celtic is not my idea of fun.Hopefully One For The Frog can cheer me up a little in the 7:55 @ Wolverhampton.Seems strange to get rid of a Manager of 7 years experience, that has won the Eredivisie title, that got little sevco to a European final and subsequently got them into the Champions League, with someone who has 6 months Managerial experience, was coach to a sevco team that could only win 1 out of 9 trophies, was sacked after 6 months as assistant manager in Brazil, lost 4 of his last 5 games in England's Championship and stabbed the QPR board and fans in the back by pledging loyalty to them then f**king off weeks later. I can only assume the sevco board hope for a Managerial bounce and to win the next old firm game thus making their title hopes a little more realistic and to get another windfall from the guaranteed Champions League place and cash this season for the winner, hell of a gamble though, and a 3 1/2 year contract for the lad?  Concerning times for the worst Champions League side of all time.

Looking forward to the next disastrous chapter in sevco's never ending comic story. Happy

QPR have still not recovered from Beale's brief tenure, they currently sit 3rd bottom and I think sevco will suffer the same fate. They need a total rebuilding process but can't even afford the scaffolding to get started. What kind of Manager wants to come into this mess? And remember, this is the kind of season your having with CL money, what happens next year when you have very little Euro money, cause you may not even get out the group. I think I posted something about this last year, what with me always being on the nose with my sevco predictions Cool

Scott Arfield Is a decent back up and should be offered something but I doubt Filip Helander will.On top of that James Sands and Malik Tillman are both on loan. We have an option to buy Sands but not sure the position with Tillman. Plenty for the new manager to contend with.Well, little sevco had a turnover of £86.8m for the year to 30 June 2022 but only a tiny Operating Profit of £5.9m, a BIG junk of those profits went up in smoke sacking Gio and paying QPR compensation for Beale and chums. The board have projected similar accounts for 2023/24 season, so where is the money going to come from to bolster the beleaguered squad  Thanks to my dossier to UEFA , you can't go back down the route of soft loans and share issues, as your on UEFA’s naughty list and I don’t see who can sell now to generate much cash  Morelos and Kent (who you paid 7 Million for) are heading for the door for free and this is McGregor's last season, furthering to your woes.It now emerges that John Bennet says
