Nice informing chart issued by UEFA on the most successful clubs over the past 5 years. RANGERS in 2nd place. |

Mind you Go Ahead Eagles is a BIG scalp to take.
Lost a wee bit of form though since they last won a major trophy. I think it was in 1933. Not sure if they'll have the same squad though. |

Your not a bad lad Joe, just a little uninformed.

I just find it incredible that a celtic supporter like
Badjoe is so interested in Rangers. Strange behaviour. |

He'll be writing next to UEFA to get that chart withdrawn.

Next week we play the Dutch mob for a prize of sixty million pounds sterling. That's a helluva lot of money for Rangers and PSV for that matter. Being Dutch himself I cannot believe that Van Bronckhorst didn't do his homework a bit better than what was really required.
That said, we are now 2nd FAV'S to qualify and although it's only half time it's going to be very hard to qualify as this team are no mugs. Aka, as the stats man on here do you know how many tickets we have been allocated for the away leg. ? TIA. |
|
By:
The stadium capacity is 35,00 and we were allocated 1600 tickets.
The last 1500 tickets went on general sale yesterday and were snapped up. |
|
By:
Prize money.
You get £17.74m for reaching the group stages. With a further £3.17m for each win and £1.05 per draw. Reach round 0f 16 you get £10.89m. That excludes a TV rights payment. |
|
By:
1600 tickets? That's a disgrace. Christ, I was thinking 8000 but given the capacity of the ground at least 5000 would have sufficed. Regardless I still think we can pull it off with a sterling performance. My ideal scenario would be 0-0 at half time......just to make the Dutch and their fans a tad nervous and hit them on the break.
This is a massive game for us but so was Seville. I know, I shouldn't bring that up but it's true to a certain extent. |

2-2 A decent result given the circumstances.
Down to 9 men after Lundstram (66) and Morelos (75) both sent off. When Andy Walker calls the decisions into question you know they are dodgy. Although tbf I wasn't surprised at the red for Morelos Says a lot about Hibs when their players went crazy at getting their late equaliser against 9 men. Hopefully no injury worries for Wednesdays crucial match. I would think that Rangers will appeal Lundstrams card and win, doubt they'll appeal the Morelos card. |

2 incidents from todays game
A yellow card https://twitter.com/i/status/1560977232432087041 A red card https://twitter.com/i/status/1560977296542109697 Both incidents identical. |

Great result for the B team with a 5-2 victory away to Dalbeattie Star.
4-0 up at the interval thanks to a Zak Lovelace hattrick and an Arron Lyall goal. Star pulled 2 back early in the second half before Charlie Lindsay secured victory in the 85th minute from the penalty spot. |
|
By:
^^ C'mon man! Don't tell me you would not go radge with an injury time equaliser v us? Your lot invade pitches when scoring v Ross County never mind dancing on and demolishing the roof over the disabled section at Kilmarnock!
The same comments were made when the Boiler scored last week v the merricks in stoppage time.....MENTAL! |

Mad Dog out of the Sevco squad going to PSV. He'll be gone by the end of the month, provided that they can find club daft enough to buy him.

Fair points VIINUL but the time your players wasted in celebrating
rather than just getting on with it and going for the winner suited us. We were on the ropes and could easily have conceded another. Morelos dropped for fitness and attitude reasons. Rumour has it that the dressing room was rather lively at full-time and Alfredo was told a few home truths. His time is up. |

It all seems to be going wrong for the beleaguered Govan based blue-nosed bams
. Points dropped, players dropped & players banned, yip, it's all going south in sevco land. . Mean while PSV had the weekend off, due to their good relationship with the KNVB, and will be fully focused, fresh and fighting fit for the arrival of little sevco. It's only going to get worse for the sevco purse ![]() |

John Lundstram's red card against Hibernian has been downgraded to a booking after appeal.
Collum couldn't wait to flash the red card. Cheat or incompetent? Obvious to me what he is. |
|
By:
Lundstram....1.Did he try to get the ball? 2. Was he close to getting the ball? 3. Could he have caused a player a severe injury? 4. It was Martin Boyle, FFS!.....70 yards from goal with two players and a goalie to beat = clear goal scoring opportunity! RED for me and I would be very happy for this to be the norm in those situations.
|
|
By:
The rules say its a yellow.
Collum gave a yellow to the Hibs player for the exact same challenge on Lundstram. The correct decision was reached after appeal. |

Great victory for Rangers B team in the SPFL Trust Trophy last night.
Beat league 2 leaders (Max points from opening 4 games) Dumbarton 7-0. Alex Lowry opened the scoring in the 7th minute and went on to score a hattrick. The Lowland league teams more on a par with Division 1 rather than division 2. |

It's only going to get worse for the sevco purse Wee joeybhoy be spitting feathers as he slips behind his sofa in tears. How do you consistently get things so wrong? The Sevco go marching on. £40m from our ELC run, £40m in transfers fees and already £5.5m earned from our 2 qualifying victories with the fortune paid for reaching the group stages on its way. I think we'll need a bigger purse. |

Ajax, Liverpool and Napoli. Tough group but could have been worse.
|
|
By:
Not much between Ajax and PSV with the latter finishing in
2nd place in the league 2 points behind Ajax last season. PSV beat them 2-1 in the Dutch cup final. Napoli finished 3rd behind Milan and Inter and will be tough with Liverpool a mountain to climb for us. We've never played either Liverpool or Napoli in a competitive match ever. |

Team win gp quality Liverpool 2/7 1/12 Ajax 11/2 1/1 Napoli 6/1 11/10 Rangers 14/1 11/4 |

Can't agree with that betting, I think its much closer between Rangers and Napoli and Ajax for second spot.

|
By:
Glen Kamara won't feature tomorrow but more of a precaution
because of a previous injury and Alfredo Morelos will again miss out with GVB set for talks with him early next week. |
