Liverpool played the best football seen at Carrow Rd this season, ok mainly in the first half but job done by then, & without Sturridge, really hope they win the league, a great club and great city.

Hunter is his own man, I hope Chelsea & United fans don't replicate the vast numbers of Liverpool fans in their bitterness whilst living in others shadows, Arsenal fans have also been the same, not every team can win the league, chelsea lost it mainly because they have played most weeks without a performing striker.
Make no mistake I don't like Liverpool or most of their fans but could watch them play everyday and as for Suarez and his antics, I'd still love to watch him play over Ba, Torres and Eto'o, even if he's playing badly he still doesn't stop running and giving defenders a hard time, say what you like about him, the bloke wants to win every time he plays, far more than many other players. |

Really, no never? Chelsea fans never moan and are never bitter en masse are they, nor are utd nor arsenal etc etc etc? No, liverpool fans are the most bitter of all and the most concerned with living in shadows aren't they? They do have a far greater winning past and history than all bar UTD i s'pose so you might be right after all. |

Chelski - as has been asked many many times on this thread as it is such an advantage how many times has it happened before and if you all thought it was such an advantage how much have you all won backing Liverpool (or the nearest 'proper' challenger) not in Europe over the years? Shouldn't take too long to answer.
I presume UTD will be very short priced favs for next year on the back of this surefire, nailed on advantage as if Liverpool do it with a squad that hasn't won feck all ever and the club not the league for 25 years then the squad that won it a couple of years back 'at a canter' should (with this massive advantage) have it wrapped up by March? I shall take the impending silence in the manner with which it is meant! |

Don't think you'll find anyone at Liverpool is saying it's all over. The fact that we've already qualified for the CL with still 3 games to go, & are strong favourites for the title, is way beyond anyone's pre-season expectations of LFC. Hence the overwhelming bitterness shown in threads like this. |

firtly; to win a title you have to be a top notch football team, you need certain things to fall your way [otherwise known as a bit of luck] now and again, and you need to get more points than anybody else. certainly not being in europe helped liverpool, but was it liverpool not being in europe that made chelsae drop points at home to sunderland, west ham,and west brom? every year the way the fixtures come out can be advantageous to certain clubs, for instance this season any team that played crystal palce early on, and newcastle late in the season had a distinct advantage over teams who played newcastle early and palce late. was it lpool not being in europe that made city drop points to the likes of sunderland,sunderland and norwich? was it lpool not being in europe that caused the massive downturn in arseanls form? the truth is that some of these variables occur every year, and some years some teams can take advantage of a bit of the "rub of the green" and some years they can't. i didn't think lpool could win the title with that defence, it now looks like i was wrong, all i'll say to lpool fans is enjoy it while you can  .have a good season in europe next season, and take no notice of anybody who wants to rain on your parade for whatever reason.lpool have already massivley exceeded pre seaon expectations, and if they do go on to win it i hope their fans have a great celebration. |
