Eh Liverpool are the top side, all the rest are below them, you could say all the teams below them raise their game when they play liverpool.

Im glad Liverpool will win the title, there is an arrogance in Chelsea and Man U support.

2005 was the last time Arsenal won a trophy, 2012 for Liverpool, yet they think you don't deserve to be above them, lol
By:
Arsenal 13
Chelsea 4 Man City 3 |
By:
Man U 20 Liverpool 18, thats the titles won
By:
So it appears Liverpool and Man U are the top 2 teams by far
By:
Liverpool won a devalued league cos Fergie wasn't in it.
By:
hey that will be 20 to 19 this year, liverpool win next season they equal the best
By:
one more time
winning away games against closest rivals shows nothing you can win all these games and finish outside the CL places that to me is fcuking hollow sunderland have drawn at city away and beat chelsea away, does this mean they have had a less hollow season than liverpool or have better quality? whatever way you keep saying your sh1t logic, thats exactly what it is, sh1t! |
By:
your criteria although obviously correct factually is not in any sense a logical one, so repeating it will never make it so.

Ryan Giggs has the same number of titles has Arsenal

Liverpool have a great manger and man U have david moyes, does not seem fair somehow.

All this thing about European commitments is b0ll0cks. Man City haven't been in the CL since they were knocked out months ago, when they were actually top of the league!

AH HUNTER
dizzy it was not abnormal ,investing in Chelsea London SW6 was always going to happen a clun already in the champions league ahead of Liverpool if you remember Wink | dizzydavid1 20 Apr 14 13:37 The amount Chelsea spent on transfer fees and wages when you won those titles was abnormal by the standards of the rest of the teams in the league, that's a plain fact. Anyway, I'm off out, all A.H HUNTER esq. 20 Apr 14 13:43 Nope they attracted investment after already being above Liverpool ,champions league clubs are attractive to investors especially one in London . The world has moved on. ^^^^^^^^ A Hunter what you say is true but it completely avoids addressing my point, which was, "The amount Chelsea spent on transfer fees and wages when you won those titles was abnormal by the standards of the rest of the teams in the league" |
By:
I think his point was, Liverpool are abnormal.
By:
abnormal divers
By:
^^^^^^ lol BB. I made all my points earlier in the thread but in a nutshell. if Hunter can't say well done to a team that started the season unfancied, as 5th (6th?) favourites at 36-1, has scored 96 goals and has a 5 point lead, despite spending considerably less than some other teams, then he could do with learning how to lose gracefully, IF Liverpool win the league as the caveat of course.
By:
They've won the league because of Suarez. Put him in any team down to Man united and they would have won the league too. One player can have that much effect.
By:
Hadaway, Liverpool deserve to win it this year. Rodgers has been a revelation and kept the team together playing attacking football and developed Sterling, Henderson and Sturridge as well as getting Suarez to play to his best after a rotten media game last year.
By:
well said.
By:
I second that Egner
By:
Ryan Giggs has the same number of titles has Arsenal Confused
This could be TBB first ever post that isn't in anyway whatsoever linked to Liverpool! I've a feeling he's softening and by next year will have an Ian Rush poster on his wall. |
By:
This will be a hollow victory for Liverpool, they haven't beat any team that's above them in the table, frauds.
By:
That Suarez lad is just a flat track bully.

By:
brendan sure has shut the brenda haters up....good on yer liverpool..
By:
I remember when everyone use to criticise solskjaer for coming off the bench and scoring goals....'Oh....look he's fresh as daisys, but everyone else is just knacked'
Liverpool are just doing it a different way but on a major scale. Funny how the BBC Liverpool Luvies and the Five (Live)rpool fail to mention this. |
By:
And while Rodgers would prefer to be in Europe next season, he admits there would be benefits to avoiding a return of European football to Anfield in the 2013/14 campaign.

Liverpool are on holidays! Chelsea boss Mourinho backs 'best friend' Rodgers' title chance... because they aren't in Europe
By MATT BARLOW PUBLISHED: 21:57, 27 December 2013 | UPDATED: 15:22, 28 December 2013 134 shares 186View comments Jose Mourinho claims Liverpool are serious title contenders this season because their gentle fixture schedule, with no European competition, is like being ‘on holidays’. Mourinho believes fewer games and extra preparation time gives Brendan Rodgers an edge in a congested race at the top of the Barclays Premier League. ‘Liverpool are on holidays for one season,’ said the Chelsea boss ahead of tomorrow’s clash between the teams at Stamford Bridge. ‘One week to prepare a match, play the match and one more week to prepare the next match. It is an unbelievable advantage.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2530142/Liverpool-holidays-Mourinho-backs-best...
