Does that mean that Manchester United's first title win for 26 years was devalued back in 1993 ? After all, they were knocked out of Europe in round one, & they never made much progress in the domestic cup competitions. Not only that, they had very little in the way of competition seeing as the likes of Liverpool & Arsenal were in decline, & there were no sugar-daddies about then to help clubs buy success. A bit different today though isn't it. & how on earth did Liverpool manage to finish runners-up in 2009 on a massive 86 points, & make it through the group stages of the CL, & get to the quarter finals ? Also, if not competing in Europe is such a big advantage, why aren't Everton challenging for the title ? They finished ahead of us last season, & have a much better manager now with Martinez.
So many questions. I need answers please. |

Stop moaning about extra matches in Europe-if this is a problem for Chelsea drop out of Champions league next season.Back England to win World Cup at30+/1 on Betfair. Liverpool will supply 5 players to start every match in Gerrard,Sterling,Sturridge,Henderson and Johnson i.e virtually half the team- remember when Liverpool are strong England are strong That could actually make some sense... |

When United won the league in 2009 with 90 points, they only picked up one point away from home when up against the other top 3 sides. They also lost 4-1 at home to Liverpool. Still didn't stop them winning the league though & getting to the CL final.

they were not fancied this season as a 7th placed team has never gone anywhere near winning the following seasons title. where were all these shrewdies when the season started saying liverpool had a big chance because of no europe, oh thats right these were the people laughing and saying how poor a price we were and that top 4 was so unlikely. first it was liverpool had had easier fixtures, when they had in fact played nearly every tough away match before the new year. then it was the massive advantage with no europe then it was cheating there way to the mountain of goals and batterings they have dished out. |

De valued what a load of rubbish, Liverpool are playing the better football, and the way you win titles is by beating the likes of Norwich away. The way you don't win the title is by losing to bottom teams like Sunderland at home.

a squad everyone would say is far weaker managing to win a title when miles off the pace the season before, its unheard of! you have picked the 3 toughest away games when you look at the bigger picture liverpool have more than held their own with the top of the table teams over the season and blitzed some completely |

For years my son has been bleating on about Man U, and laughing at Celtic in the CL, I said hey we don't think we will win it but just been in it is the thing, these midweek European matches are great, Wonder what he will do next season, take up an evening class I suppose, he better be quick because they might be booked out as Man U have loads of fans, most will be Liverpool fans next season anyway and if you say to them but you support Man U they will say " Ive always been a pool fan.

WOW English fans are like Rangers fans, they really can't take it when they are beat, Man U Chelsea, Arsenal fans seem to think that Liverpool have no right winning it, lot of jealous people.
I heard that Fergie choose the tea lady at old trafford as well and the tea stinks and is different every week so they drink coffee now. And I heard that Man U team bus got stopped for speeding on the M6, David Moyes said we need the 3 points. |

08/09 didn't lose to any of them and won at old trafford and the bridge we were the best team even though the table says different we were the best team by your criteria |
