were Sterling and Sturridge stars before the season started? No. They raised their level and gave Liverpool 3 game changers with pace.

So what you are saying is that if any team other than 1 in Europe (at any stage?) wins the league it is devalued/freak/not the same as when a team with all the resources it needs to win every comp it enters (top 4) wins it? What an interesting perspective that is. No really it is..
Out of interest has anybody got the minutes played stats as the fact that Liverpool's squad is smaller than the other challengers could mean they have played more minutes than the teams in Europe - or certainly not sig less. |

TBB - all squads are 25 (and up to 8 'homegrowns') strong in the prem or didn't you know that? I am saying they would not have won it but for their schedule that allowed them to escape injuries suspensions and remain fresh and focused on one thing . It was an abnormal season for a team to win it like Liverpool did. Put Arsenal in the same situation and they may well have done the same.
