Just to clarify, my reply was to the previous post.
Celtic were never subject to any financial sanctions.
In 1994 Celtic were threatened by the BOS over a 6 million debt, this was paid, and the rest, as they say, is history.

what  a lovely analogy shrewd

but the fact remains Rangers can now quote and have their history after their name .. impossible for some to take on here , which makes posting this all  the more pleasurable ..

And  i now look forward to the OLDEST derby in scotland with Queens park ..

Tom Millar on talksport just now...quote..This is a transfer is of the old Rangers membership from the SFA so we can stop using this Newco term nonsenseLaugh

March 22nd - Season 1878-79 - Scottish Cup QF - Rangers 1 Queens Park 0

in these times of trouble, have to show a brave face shrewd

Sorry pal. So when you say Scotland's oldest derby you are just forgetting about one of the oldest derbys in the world called THE DERBY BETWEEN THE HEART V HIBS which is one of the oldest derbys in footballing history and was first played in 1875! (a little bit before 1878 as even you will be able to calculate)

Sorry to disapoint your season again wee buddy and I know you are already clutching at straws so I'm not trying to put the boot in but you haven't even got that too look forward to.

It ain't the oldest derby in Scotland so basically your boasting about looking forward to participating in the oldest derby in Glasgow against an Amateur team. If that's what you are looking forward too then at least you have re-adjusted your expectations for the season which is certainly a good thing.

Can't wait until Sevco v Queens Park!!!! The oldest derby in...... (you fill in the blanks here..............)

Googling? Some people just have a bit of knowledge about football. Stop getting your footballing knowledge from Jim Traynor and Chick Young and you can learn things about Scottish football.

Here's a wee tip for some ex rangers fans to make serious money.
When jack Nicklaus dies, change your name to Jack Nicklaus, buy a set of his old clubs, tell everyone you have won 18 majors, and just watch the sponsors invites pour in.
Na, they would probably put you in the mad hoose, aka the big hoose.

Well I knew the oldest derby in Scotland is the Edinburgh Derby as it's about the third oldest in Britain. I didn't know when the first Glasgow derby is because I couldn't give a **** about a derby between two bottom tier diddy teams until you started larging it about it being the OLDEST derby in Scotland so I was very intrigued as to when it was.

Read back the posts  you made an idiot of your self by making that statement at 20.57 and you told me when they first played at 21.21. I went to the pub came back and mocked you for your piss poor knowledge at 1.53.

12 hours??? not sure where that came from. Know **** all about football and can't count. At least you have the Queens Park game to look forward too. A few maths lessons before then and a wee bit research of Scottish football history would assist you greatly before then.

funny how you didnt share this  derby information  last night at 21.00  when you took the time to comment on it , it would have been quicker to say Hibs and Hearts was the oldest , my take on your lies... SOMEBODY DOWN THE PUB TOLD YOU OR YOU GOOGLED IT

Lots of crap on this thread.

I've stated on here many times that as much as I hate Sellik,I hate the Huns even more, just to set my credentials. However, the club that comes out of this,if one does,I will regard as being 'Rangers'.Their supporters will regard them as Rangers. They will still be Rangers.

I take some satisfaction out of their predicament but the gloating of some should stop, imo.

I think you need to blame McCoist and Green for that.

They are still trying to dictate what punishment they get.

They still do not understand they have been granted a huge favour by letting them even play in the 3rd division.
By:

When: 21 Jul 12 20:40
they've also been handed a get out of jail card by applying the transfer ban only during the season when it makes ZERO difference to their chances (i.e in Div3).

As for keeping their history, the deluded fans can keep whatever parts they like, but the stolen trophies will not be counted, not by the record books, not by historians, not by the media, and not by anyone outside of the deluded few.

wasting your time Jambo the obsessive bigoted hatred towards Rangers runs deep in here..

10 point deduction
160000 fine
banned from Europe for 3 years
kicked out the SPL
put in Div3
transfer embargo and spl are still thinking about more punishments

but some loonballs on here think we havent been punished , biggest joke of all SFA and SPL done us a favour yeh right..

as for trophys being stripped IMO will never happen , just the Scottish media feeding the Celtic internet loyal

My heart bleeds for all the bluenoses suffering so badly , so here's a little something to lift the gloom . After a bit of banter today , this lineup was cobbled together for Newco/sevco 5088/sevco Scotland for their trip to Glebe Park next weekend .
Goalkeeper;Ken Dodd ,Knows how to save ( by avoiding tax ) and his tickle stick could be used on the trophies that gather dust in an underused trophy room after the authorities claim back the trophies of the last decade ,or so .
Outfield in no particular order ; Lester Piggot ,good at turning a deaf ear to the taxman . Salam Butt , makes sport pay ( but not crime ). Sir Fred Goodwin , they all love to look up to a Knight of the Realm .Danny McGrain ,the scouts have just found out that despite having Fergus as his middle name he DID NOT attend a School prefixed with the word SAINT . Keith Raffan , this ex-MSP brings a working knowledge of Scotland's B , C and unclassified roads . Bob Diamond , if they want to play with a diamond in midfield he fits the bill . Boris Onishchenko , to provide the cut and thrust in midfield .Jim Devine , the disgraced former MP would be suited to the left wing . Gerald Ratner , quite prepared to flog crap to the public , and treat them with contempt . Nick Leeson , a big international player ,willing to take a risk or two .
The backroom staff ;Medical duties to be shared by 2 practices , Crippen and Shipman and also Struckoff and Die .
Security ; G4S ( as soon as the Olympics are done )
Newco charitable wing to be run by David Douglas Murray , son of Sir David ,remember his formula for fund raising .
Cheerleading services continue to be provided ( free of charge ) by BBC Scotland sports dept and the Scottish press . The ugliest but most commited cheerleaders will be identified by their red tops .
If he can be found , Chic Young will take the lead role .
Harry redknapp's dog will fill the position left vacant by Bomber Brown's departure . A plus point as the dog has more funds and is a lot more articulate .
Farepak have been dropped as potential sponsors , as they have eventually buckled to public pressure and have set up a scheme to pay creditors more cash than was first thought possible .Laugh

You slavering pish again Skullery???

10 point deduction = 10 point deduction standard penalty for all teams going in to admin.(didn't affect you at all)

160000 fine = Hasn't been paid yet by either Rangers or Sevco

banned from Europe for 3 years = Not banned from Europe at all. Don't meet the UEFA Quality criteria applied to all several hundred members. I.E Scotland's diddy team can't even meet the quality criteria for a European competition. (Like me saying I'm banned from the Olympic 100m for the next 3 years, when really I don't meet the qualifying criteria because I'm a fat bastard and can't do the 100m in under 12 seconds)

kicked out the SPL
put in Div3 = liquidated and no longer exist but still parachuted in by your pals in blazers in to the SFL3.

transfer embargo and spl are still thinking about more punishments = SFA bend over and take up the arse and still let you buy players i this window and god forbid may have more punishments for cheating.

Your only punishment is 10 points in a season which it didn't make any difference. But it's still woe is me from you ****.

deducted 10 points,  and it affected every Rangers player and supporter ..punishment check
160000 fine one of the terms of membership is this being paid .. punishment check
Going from SPL  to div3... massive punishment

trying to force an illegal transfer embargo on Rangers ..punishment
CL place going to Motherwell self inflicted or not the fans are being punished , you are spending too much time on internet hate sites , hatred is clouding your view..

you and others like you see only one verdict death to Rangers ,

can you give some examples of any club who has been stripped of titles for this offense  ...

I can give you plenty of clubs who have gone bust and have not been stripped of titles..

as for dual contracts and EBTs..Arsenal admitted guilt cut a deal on this issue with HMRC , EBTS being a loan, they  would not have been in the contract  sent to the FA , should arsenal be stripped of the one title they won in that period

the people who cheated are no longer at club.  why continue to go after fans and workers trying to save club.  if what happened was illegal go after murray, white and others.

new club should try to honor as many of the non tax debts, perhaps cant sign over 18's until they do would have been a good punishment rather than relegation and europe ban which in reality screws the rest of scottish football.

I hear Southampton are going to give Rangers a 800K fee for Steven Davis (more fool them). Will they be forced to hand this over to Hearts and the other clubs they stole off?
By:

The money being paid to hearts was never in doubt. If Gers failed to pay hearts the cash was always gonna come direct from Rangers next payment from the SPL.

Stripping titles now? This is going too far, it seems like Rangers are being punished for the same thing over and over and over again. I think relegation to Div 3 is more than enough, it's a very severe punishment - if ManU or Real Madrid had been guilty of the exact same thing, there is no way they would have been relegated to the bottom of the pile.

I'm not a Rangers fan btw

A man went up to court for defrauding the social of 134K. He was fined £160 and barred from signing on for 8 hours. He threatened the judge with violence and got his mates to go around intimidating the judiciary. At his appeal he was sentenced to 30 days. The fact he stills feel hard done to suggests he should have been sectioned imo.

Incidentally, the goods he bought with the 134K he was allowed to keep for a one off payment of 1.5K.
