On the telly now its being reported that more than 50% of clubs have alreasdy stated they will be voting NO to Div 1.
So unless some of them bottle it at the last minute,then its off to Div 3 they go. Assuming of course they can find the players and the finance to see them through the season. |

Fwiw this is how i see it.
The majority of Rangers Fans would seem to want go to Div 3. The SPL clubs voted against Rangers in SPL because they know their fans would`nt stand for it, which is not the same as sporting integrity. The SPL clubs dont want Rangers sent to div 3, for self preservation reasons, they want us in div 1. The SFL Clubs have been left to carry the baby, they have been forced to decide which SFL division Ranger`s will start in again, if any? As a Rangers man I sincerely hope that we are asked to start off again in div 3, at least. |

all this talk of new club is way off the mark ....the club preceeds the plc 27 years and the sfa by 10 .
its a newcompany but not and never can be a new club . the corporate identity has changed but the club is the same as it was in 1872 ,sfa formed 1882 and company house formed 1899. so the newco not being made to compete with other teams for a div 3 spot is not covered in the rules. a newco is NOT new club ,as the club was formed before sfa and plc were invented .HTH. how can a club that was formed 27 years before companys house be gone impossable ....same club ....diff company .
same as cletic when they changed in 1994 . you can tell yersel it a million times ,it still wont be true unless you believe celtic lost all their old fans and all their old trophies and all their old titles in 1994. the club is not a company . |

If the Celtic and Rangers 1872 situation was the same then why were Celtic not demoted to the 3rd division? Its two totally different circumstances. Fergus McCann saved Celtic on the 11th hour Rangers 1872 folded. Huge difference. Face it Rangers 1872 are no more. |

a never said it was the same situ ,celtic and athletic used pacific shelf as a holding company then launched celtic 1994 plc ltd . same club throughout . rangers are exactly the same one company is gone newco carries on the CLUB . face it rangers are still the most successfull club in the world deal with it |

the rangers were formed in 1872 ,the company which owned them was not established untill 1899 ,it will soon cease to exist and the newco sevco now owns them.

Celtic didn't owe anybody lots of money which they didn't pay. they didn't liquidate to my knowledge. David Murray ruined your club and left lots of people out of pocket and then p!ssed off leaving Whyte to carry the screaming baby. So its to be the Third Division for newco. Fair play to the SFL clubs for sticking to their principles and ignoring the bribes/threats/blackmail.

the bribes threats and blackmail from the spl via the sfa to the sfl to protect the very clubs who through rangers out on grounds of sporting integrity ,you could not make this **** up.
to uphold sporting integrity they show total disregard for the wishes of the sfl clubs ,they may be diddys but they aint thick. lets hope they stand up to the corruption of the spl/sfa and show the spl who really holds the power. they will collect more money from rangers in div 3, the profile of the leagues 2/3 will be raised and they can show true integrity not hypocrisy .its a no brainer . |

SFL clubs should deny them admission (or set up such massive sanctions that they have no chance of being promoted for years and end up funding all the other clubs in the SFL through some revenue redistribution scheme). Clearly there are more worthy candidates for entry to the third division.

I know you are hurting and not thinking clearly but you need to face the facts. Rangers 1872 are finished,kaputo,no more.If they still existed you would still be owe near a hundred million you dodo. Also the newco will be very lucky to gain admission to div 3 as they do not have 3yrs books to show that they are fit and proper persons,able to run a football club. Most likely outcome is them being admitted to div 3 but i would not rule out them having a year off as this completely fukcs up Mr Greens plans for a quick profit. |

If it were my club (and I have a soft spot for Rangers) then as a supporter I'd prefer to be in Div3. The only thing that would worry me would be admission prices, while it's fair to charge £30 for a premier game I think it's unfair to charge that for Div3.
Does anyone know when the likely outcome is delivered? |
