He`s been interviewed, and unless he wants a squillion pounds a week and the funds to buy Ronaldo and Messi, he should be hired. On the Wolves forums he`s by far the most popular candidate. Bruce is unviersally unpopular on them

not a job for a young guy..its a big job..only till season end maybe
waltervsmith..man u everton glasgow rangers=safe pair of hands maybe |

Get on Curbishley.
Available at 6.2. Having 2nd Interview today. Odds will come down and is the Wolves 1st Choice. Even if he doesn't get the job you will be able to lay off. |
By:
down to 3.1 already.
It's only going to get lower. |
By:
Looking at the Betting, he must have done a Chisora at his 2nd interview and spat his water in Morgans face

he really ****ed up the interview then... bizarre how market knows before the reporters
By:
I've told you DAYS AGO...
Its BRUCE! |
By:
Lee Clark getting hit hard, rumours he's having an interview. If he gets it this market ends in tears for me, thought they weren't looking for a novice. ffs
By:
curbishley rejects a short term deal is the report here. I dont think any of the managers who have premier league experience will be willing to take a short term deal the ones that are still managing that is
By:
I have a hunch WWFC are holding out for Hughton in the hope the ****ys take Birmingham in to Administration...
Would be a crying shame as CH far far far far too CLASSY for the Dingles! |
By:
worcesterwilly why ru trying to play with the punters here? I was considering bruce looking at the market right now and you now imply houghton is a possible candidate

By:
A really interesting market, this one.
And no offence to anyone, but if you can't be all green on a market like this, then there's little hope for you! |
By:
Sounds like they preferably want an older head to guide them through the end of the season and then appoint a younger up and comer manager in the summer. Obviously not working out as guys like Curbs and Bruce don't want to be used for 13 games and potentially be left out in the cold. Risk/reward doesn't work out for them taking a short contract.
So either they get a lesser desired old head or hire the younger permanent guy now. The amount of names being thrown around as have being interviewed is dizzying. |
By:
If this was a bigger club, I think it'd become derided by now.
The interview process, as a traditional candidate selection process, is not appropriate in football imo - mainly because the club will already know so much about the candidates. Have a chat about it, by all means. But 2nd interviews? Seems like a bit of a joke to me. |

By:
I think it'd become derided by now
Freudian? |
By:
Reminds me a bit of Hull City replacing Phil Brown with Iain Dowie til the end of the season in similar circumstances a couple of years back.
He was a poor appointment winning only 1 game. They never looked like staying up and it just didn't work. Wolves look in danger of making a real mess of this. |
By:
Srgt Douche....
I just have a hunch that WW want an interim manager as they hope Hughton may" be available in the summer.. BCFC owner could be in jail by then and if he is its likely administrators could be called in - meaning all the excellent young talent BCFC have likely to be sold off...Butland,Mutch,Redmond,Ashante,Gnohere etc.. CH would then most likely jump ship |

By:
Lee Clark now made his way into second fav... joint fav with some bookies.
And so the saga continues! |
By:
Lee Clark momentum persists, being matched at new lows.
By:
Yep, still falling. I think that would be pretty much everything against what the chairman has vowed to do - maybe he is playing the markets himself!
By:
My biggest loser, going off what the chairman/chief ex said they wanted an experience guy.Unless everyone's turned down!
By:
Curbs just been reported that he has 'dropped out of the running'

Interesting that Niall Quinn has left Sunderland effective immediately. Talk Wolves want a director of football type and he would seemingly work well with Keane. Of course this theory doesn't work perfectly as he claims he's leaving Sunderland to spend more time with his family and pursue non football interests.
By:
Clark has been flicking between 2.6 and 5.5 for a while - strikes me as people guessing at the moment.
By:
That was my £40 layed at 2.6 and i am defo guessing and hoping he don't get it!
By:
I need to go in the bath but can't risk missing a market move! This has all the hallmarks of a massive layers' benevolency. All we need is a couple more plausible candidates...
By:
I tend to agree.
The first ten names on the Betfair favourites list bear no reflection of the comments made by the Wolves Chairman. It's a bizarre situation, but plenty of opportunity for greens across the board imo. |

how many faves have there been now

I have Keane as a good winner, but just can't see it, i was hoping he would do a lee clark and go under 2/1.Also deep down i don't think it will be Bruce but have kept him onside.Only ever lost on 2 manager markets in the last 10 years on here but getting bad vibes about this one.
By:
bruce will go down like a lead balloon with the fans and not sure what they would make of clark

By:
The day you start listening to fans is the day you should quit.
How many examples do we need of fans getting it spectacularly wrong? |
